We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established contractor carrying out void property repairs and refurbishment works to social housing properties across the Chesterfield area.This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality void property maintenance and refurbishment projects.The role involves working on void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a range of multi-trade repairs to prepare homes to a lettable standard.We welcome applications from Multi Skilled Operatives, Multi Traders, Property Maintenance Operatives, Void Operatives, Maintenance Technicians, Carpenter Multi Traders, Plumber Multi Traders, and Repairs Operatives with experience working within social housing or domestic property maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Carry out a variety of repairs across multiple trades, including basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting & decoratingComplete repairs to doors, frames, locks, kitchens, bathrooms, and internal fixtures and fittingsUndertake patch plastering, wall repairs, and minor rendering where requiredCarry out basic plumbing repairs, including replacing taps, sinks, toilets, and pipeworkComplete minor carpentry works including hanging doors, fitting skirting boards, architraves, and kitchen repairsCarry out wall and floor tiling repairs as requiredPrepare surfaces and complete painting and decorating to achieve a high-quality finishEnsure all properties are completed to the required void standard within agreed timescalesWork safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and tidy work areaComplete all work in accordance with health and safety regulations and company standardsRequirements:To have your own vanTo have your own toolsPrevious experience working as a Multi Trade OperativeExperience across a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and decoratingPrevious experience working on social housing void properties is highly desirableAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadFull UK driving licenceBenefits:£22 per hourOngoing,self-employed workMonday to Friday workingWeekly pay (CIS payments available)Opportunity to secure long-term work with a reputable contractorIf you're interested in this Multi Trade Operative role, please apply online or call Alex on 07488 866 703TPBN1_UKTJ
