Key Responsibilities • Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to individuals with complex needs., • Support clients with daily living activities, including personal care, nutrition, mobility, and medication assistance where required., • Build positive and trusting relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams., • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism using appropriate communication and behavioural support strategies., • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioural wellbeing., • Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans., • Promote independence, choice, inclusion, and community participation., • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all times. Essential Requirements • Previous experience in a care, support, or healthcare setting., • Understanding of person-centred care principles., • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs is desirable., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Compassionate, patient, and professional approach., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Right to work in the UK., • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Desirable Qualifications • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)., • Medication administration training., • Experience working with positive behaviour support approaches., • Complex care experience, including PEG feeding, epilepsy management, tracheostomy care, or other clinical interventions (where applicable).
