We have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives/HGV Strappers at a distribution centre based in Ellesmere Port. *The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role & also be physically fit as this is a very demanding role* Duties to Include: • Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels, • Cooperate with management and team to ensure the job is complete at the end of the day, • Work to the timescale and deadlines, • Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned., • Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork., • Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate., • Maintain constant communication with the Traffic Office., • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and use all equipment safely, as specified in operating procedures., • Operate the vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger the driver or other road users., • Comply with safe working practices at all times.
