Owen Daneils are supporting a well-established and growing manufacturing business, is currently looking to recruit a CNC Improver / Machining Operative to join their production team on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing and machining experience who is looking to further develop their career within a busy engineering environment. The successful candidate will ideally have exposure to CNC machinery, with experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter/Operator, or Machining Operative, and be keen to build on their existing skills.Key Responsibilities:\n\n • Operating CNC machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment\n, • Assisting with machine set-ups, tooling changes, and basic adjustments\n, • Producing components to engineering drawings and customer specifications\n, • Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges\n, • Supporting the wider production team to ensure output targets and deadlines are achieved\n, • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping at all times\n, • Reporting any machine faults, quality issues, or production concerns to management\n, • Working closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to continue developing machining skills\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n, • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential\n, • Experience operating or working with CNC machinery\n, • Background as a CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, CNC Setter/Operator, Improver, or Machining Operative would be highly advantageous\n, • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings\n, • Experience using measuring equipment and carrying out quality inspections\n, • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic\n, • Keen to learn, improve, and develop within a machining/engineering role\n, • Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n, • Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience\n, • Permanent opportunity with a stable and growing manufacturer\n, • Training and development opportunities for someone looking to progress in CNC machining\n, • Supportive team environment\n, • Overtime opportunities may be available\nIf you have experience within manufacturing, machining, or CNC operations and are looking for your next opportunity with a reputable engineering business, we would like to hear from you.To apply, please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
