Supply Chain & Operations Manager \n Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 \n We are seeking an experienced and driven Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead and optimise end-to-end operational performance across planning, procurement, inventory, and logistics functions. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, cost, and delivery.\n, • Lead and manage change, driving continuous improvement across operations.\n, • Provide clear direction and inspire teams to work collaboratively towards shared objectives.\n, • Develop agile, cross-functional teams that are accountable, adaptable, and customer-focused.\n, • Oversee resource planning to align capacity with fluctuating workloads and business demands.\n, • Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and adherence to operational standards and systems.\n\n Supply Chain & Planning \n\n • Oversee production and repair scheduling to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.\n, • Align schedules with capacity, materials availability, and customer priorities.\n, • Manage procurement activities, ensuring timely supply of materials from internal and external suppliers.\n, • Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with demand forecasts and business targets.\n, • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.\n\n Logistics & Inventory Management \n\n • Lead all logistics operations, including inbound, internal, and outbound flows.\n, • Ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished goods.\n, • Oversee inventory control processes, including forecasting, stock accuracy, and audits.\n, • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and shipping requirements.\n\n Leadership & Team Development \n\n • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with HSE standards.\n, • Set clear performance objectives aligned with business goals.\n, • Develop team capability through training, coaching, and career development planning.\n, • Foster a positive working culture through effective communication and leadership.\n\n Continuous Improvement \n\n • Monitor operational performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed.\n, • Lead and contribute to improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.\n, • Ensure compliance with established processes while identifying opportunities to optimise standards.\n\n About You \n\n • Proven experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics management within a complex environment.\n, • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.\n, • Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.\n, • Experience working with KPIs, forecasting, and continuous improvement methodologies.\n, • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.\n
