Luso Court Care Centre is a newly commissioned specialist care home in Clapham, London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 80 en suite bedrooms across two floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia care and residential mental health support within a safe and clinically led environment.Kitchen Assistant Contract £12.71 per hourContracted to 40 hours per weekPaid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewJoining a brand new care home from the very beginning offers a genuinely exciting opportunity to help shape the kitchen environment, team culture and day to day dining experience as the service develops. As part of the team from the outset, you will play an important role in creating a clean, organised and welcoming kitchen where high standards and teamwork are valued.As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation.
