This is a fantastic opportunity offering £18.00 per hour , stable Monday to Friday working hours , the opportunity to learn CNC machinery , and a genuine permanent opportunity with a well-established manufacturing business.This role would suit candidates with experience as a Joiner, Bench Joiner, Workshop Joiner, Manufacturing Joiner, Carpenter, Cabinet Maker, Woodworker, Timber Operative, Wood Machinist, CNC Operative, or Joinery Operative.Shifts• Monday – Friday• 06:00 – 14:30• Candidates must be willing to work additional hours when requiredRates of Pay• £18.00 per hourBenefitsAs a Joiner , you will receive:• £18.00 per hour• Weekly pay• Stable Monday to Friday working hours• Opportunity to learn CNC machine operation• Long-term work with a well-established client• Genuine permanent opportunity• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment• Friendly and supportive working environmentDay-to-Day DutiesAs a Joiner , your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Manufacturing moulds and stair stringers in line with issued technical drawings• Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings and specifications• Measuring, marking, cutting, assembling, and finishing timber components to a high standard• Learning how to safely operate CNC machinery and assisting with CNC production when required• Inspecting completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications• Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively• Supporting other production and manufacturing areas when required• Working additional hours to meet production deadlines when necessary• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment• Following all company health and safety procedures at all timesEssential SkillsTo be successful as a Joiner , you will need:• To be a qualified or time-served Joiner• Previous joinery or carpentry experience• The ability to read, understand, and accurately work from technical drawings• Good measuring, cutting, assembly, and finishing skills• Experience using a variety of hand and power tools• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team• A flexible attitude and willingness to support different production areas• A willingness to learn and develop CNC machining skillsDesirable Experience• Previous experience manufacturing moulds, stair stringers, or bespoke timber products• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, workshop, or factory environment• Previous CNC machine operating experience would be advantageous but is not essentialTraining Provided• Full training will be provided on CNC machine operation, along with industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignmentApplyIf you are an experienced Joiner looking for your next opportunity with a company offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing training, and the chance to secure a permanent position, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
