While many take on this responsibility quietly, the impact on their wellbeing, education and opportunities can be significant. We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Young Carers Practitioner to join our Staffordshire Together for Carers Service and help make that happen. This role works primarily in the community directly with Young Carers, families, schools and community partners across Staffordshire County and as such a full UK driving licence and vehicle to use for work are essential, as well as flexibility to meet young people outside of school hours. In addition, you will have regular team working with colleagues and the flexibility to work from home. No two days are the same. You could be delivering one-to-one support, running peer support groups, visiting schools to raise awareness, attending multi-agency meetings, or helping families access the support they need.
