We are now looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Chef de Partie to join the established brigade. The Role As Chef de Partie you will take ownership of your designated section, preparing and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality, consistency and reputation of the kitchen during busy service. Key Responsibilities Running your own section efficiently during service, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the required standard. Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality food using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Supporting the senior kitchen team and helping to guide and develop junior chefs and commis. Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising wastage on your section. Contributing ideas and supporting menu development where appropriate. Key Requirements Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up. A genuine passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Experience within a busy hotel, restaurant or resort kitchen environment. A relevant culinary qualification (e.g. NVQ / City & Guilds) is desirable. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards. A reliable, organised team player able to perform under pressure during busy service.
