Our established solutions provider client is looking for an experienced sales manager as well as graduates to join them. \n About the role \n The Sales Manager for the UK & MENA will handle overall responsibility for promotional and marketing plans in order to deliver sales and represent brand internationally. The role’s purpose will be to grow revenue through effective distributor management, market expansion, and development of new business opportunities. Additionally, to deliver high-value training and consultancy services in data science, econometrics, qualitative & quantitative research, and forecasting, helping clients and distributor partners build analytical, commercial, and market insights capabilities. \n The role will require that you are responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, as well as post-sale activities to guarantee continued success. \n The successful candidate will be based in our office in Kew Gardens, and will travel regularly to the Middle East, USA and around the UK to conduct customer and new business meetings, attend customer events and relevant conferences \n \n About the client: \n We are is a global firm with over 40 years’ experience in data science, econometrics, and analytics. We provide services to businesses, government agencies, and universities worldwide, delivering data-driven solutions and expert technical support. \n We have been involved in a number of varied projects requiring statistical and econometric analysis and training for government agencies, universities, health authorities, financial institutions, central banks, and pharmaceutical companies. \n \n Responsibilities \n Sales \n\n • Develop and manage relationships. Serve as primary point of contact for key accounts, regularly meeting in person and virtually\n, • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.\n, • Organise demos with customers, prospecting to potential accounts and promotional plans, identify new business and opportunities\n, • Identify opportunities for account expansion and upsell additional products,\n, • Produce detailed reports on distributor performance, market trends, and sales forecasting.\n, • Use analytical tools to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.\n, • Present insights and recommendations to senior management and clients.\n, • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.\n, • Travel to territories once every two months to conduct in person meetings with customers, attend events\n, • Organise and run quarterly in person events per territory for users and purchasers to promote software and our brand\n, • Work alongside team to develop promotional plans and communicate with all softwares\n, • Assist with the Sales and Marketing of new Software releases\n, • Create and deliver presentations and proposals to clients,\n, • Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process for key accounts, Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting\n, • Organise and participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities\n, • Track and analyse sales performance, reporting monthly on sales activities, figures and strategy to software developers and business directors\n\n Sales & Business Development Training \n\n • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve targets.\n, • Identify prospect list for onsite training and consultancy\n, • Build strong relationships.\n, • Organise demos, prospecting to accounts and promotional plans, identify and pitch for new business across software in UK & MENA\n, • Identify opportunities and upsell additional products, licenses and service\n, • Be the Ambassador and source of knowledge of our product to the outside world,\n, • Travel to territories regularly to conduct in person meetings with existing and prospective customers, attend events\n, • Organise and run quarterly in person events per territory for users and purchasers to promote software and our brand\n, • Work alongside team to develop promotional plans and communicate with all softwares\n, • Assist with the Sales and Marketing of new Software releases – Bi-Annual\n, • Create and deliver presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value and ROI of our software solutions\n, • Track and report weekly on sales performance to business directors\n, • Produce detailed reports on distributor performance, market trends, and sales forecasting.\n, • Use analytical tools to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.\n, • Present insights and recommendations to senior management and clients.\n\n Experience & Skills \n\n • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on key account management, preferably in the software or technology sector.\n, • Proven success in managing and growing large, complex accounts.\n, • Experience selling enterprise software solutions, SaaS, or technology products is a plus.\n, • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are imperative.\n, • Excellent written, spoken skills in English, other languages advantageous.\n, • Organisational and presentation skills.\n, • Ability to understand customer pain points and tailor solutions accordingly.\n, • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.\n, • Deep understanding of sales methodologies and Salesforce software desirable.\n, • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Carry out additional duties when reasonably requested\n, • Self starter and confident\n, • Ability to travel as required to the Middle East, USA and around UK to meet with clients attend industry events\n, • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to sales\n, • A team player with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service\n\n Benefits: \n\n • Competitive Salary\n, • Annual performance related bonus up to 20%\n, • Commission structure on agreed account target list and new business sales\n, • Ongoing professional development\n, • 22 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays\n, • Additional day off for birthday\n, • Quarterly wellness days\n
