Finance Manager/No2 in Finance \n Are you a commercially minded Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking for a broad role where you can genuinely influence the direction of a growing manufacturing business? \n \n What's on Offer \n\n • £75,000 - £80,000\n, • Hybrid working\n, • Broad, varied Finance Manager position\n, • International group environment\n, • High level of exposure to senior leadership\n, • Opportunity to influence systems, processes and future growth\n\n I'm working exclusively with an international manufacturing organisation seeking a qualified Finance Manager/Financial Controller to partner closely with the UK&I Head of Finance and leadership team. This is a varied role offering exposure across financial control, commercial finance, operations and team leadership. \n \n The Opportunity \n This is far more than a traditional month-end reporting role. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight to support business performance and continuous improvement. \n You'll also have the opportunity to develop and mentor a finance team while driving process improvements across systems, reporting and financial controls, whilst also sit as part of the leadership team. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Lead the month-end close and management reporting process\n, • Produce budgets, forecasts and cashflow forecasts\n, • Business partner operational managers, supporting margin analysis, costing and commercial decision making\n, • Take ownership of stock accounting, product costing and inventory controls\n, • Manage year-end audit and statutory reporting\n, • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls\n, • Support group reporting and intercompany accounting\n, • Drive finance process improvements and systems enhancements\n, • Lead, mentor and develop the finance team of 2\n\n \n About You \n You'll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with at least 3 years' post-qualified experience and ideally come from a manufacturing, FMCG, food or other stock-led environment. You'll enjoy operating in a hands-on role and be comfortable balancing technical finance with commercial business partnering. \n \n Experience in the following would be highly advantageous: \n\n • Manufacturing or stock accounting\n, • Costing and margin analysis\n, • Team leadership\n, • Budgeting and forecasting\n, • ERP systems (Sage 200 experience beneficial but not essential)\n, • Group reporting\n\n Above all, we're looking for someone who enjoys improving processes, building relationships and making a genuine impact on the wider business. \n
