Welders & Fabricators \n TIG Welders \n Aerospace Manufacturing | Dunstable | Full Time, Permanent \n £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) \n DAY shift and NIGHT Shift available Monday to Thursday four day week \n Response Personnel is recruiting Welders and Fabricators / TIG Welders on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Dunstable. These are full time, permanent positions offered on either a day shift or night shift, with a four-day working week and excellent overtime opportunities. \n Shift Pattern & Hours \n\n • Four day week: Monday to Thursday\n, • Day shift: 6.00am - 3.45pm or 7.00am - 4.45pm\n, • Night shift: 3.45pm - 1.30am (night shift premium: an additional 1/3 pay)\n, • Contracted hours: 37 hours, Monday to Thursday\n, • Overtime generally available Friday and Saturday, paid at x1.5\n\n Salary & Benefits \n\n • £38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience\n, • 5 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 22 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 3 years\n, • Subsidised canteen\n, • Life Assurance x3\n, • Company Sick Pay (after successful probationary period)\n, • Enhanced Pension Scheme - joinable from Day 1, with flexible contributions via salary sacrifice\n, • Access to an Independent Financial Advisor for pension advice\n, • Non-contributory Income Protection Insurance\n, • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)\n, • On-site car parking\n, • On-site shower facilities\n\n The Role \n\n • Production of ducting components using various metals including stainless steel, Titanium and Inconel\n, • MIG and TIG welding experience\n, • Ability to operate a turntable controlled with a foot pedal, and to operate a welding chamber (Glove Box)\n, • Ability to obtain and maintain approval stamps\n, • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings\n, • Previous experience within the Aerospace industry is desirable\n, • Do you have experience working with ducting?\n, • Can you read and understand engineering drawings, and are you comfortable working with hand tools (snips, hammers, abrasive pads, etc.)?\n, • Materials include - Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium before?\n, • Recent TIG welding experience, and have you TIG welded Stainless Steel, Titanium and/or nickel alloy tubes with around a 0.71mm wall thickness and 6.35mm diameter\n, • Are you comfortable using a foot controller while TIG welding?\n, • Do you have Aerospace Experience\n, • Have you used a turntable when TIG welding before?\n, • Have you previously been formally qualified to weld in different positions, ideally 5F and 6G?\n\n To apply, contact Response Personnel with your CV and screening question answers today \n \n TIG Welder / Welding / TIG Welder / Welder Fabricator
