Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a Design/Proposals Engineer to work for a global business with a UK Office based in Durham. The company are a designer/manufacturer of electrical products used in Data Centre and Industrial projects across 130 countries. Their head office and manufacturing facility is based out of Istanbul with further locations including: Germany, France, UAE, Australia and USA. Key Responsibilities: Technical analysis of requirements Development of technical proposals Creation of project documents (drawings/datasheets) Offer preparation in SAP (with support from MD) Drafting supporting documentation Requirements: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline and/or previous experience in a similar role. Required Skills: Ability to critically analyze technical and commercial documentation Experience in drafting offers in SAP Proficiency in written and spoken English; a second language is a plus Advanced knowledge of Excel and main IT tools; experience with SAP systems is a plus Fundamental Knowledge Understanding of design fundamentals Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical engineering principles Proficiency in AutoCAD Additional Knowledge: Experience with Revit and Autocad Strong critical analysis, attention to detail, and precision * Proactive attitude ...
