Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Café All-rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks in accordance with company standards., • Assist with food preparation, including light cooking and assembling of menu items., • Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and handling payments using the POS system., • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including sanitising equipment and surfaces regularly., • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times., • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth café operations throughout shifts., • Provide friendly, attentive service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers., • Assist in opening and closing procedures as required, including cash handling and cleaning routines. Qualifications • Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate., • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable., • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous., • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately., • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively., • Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers., • A positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service are essential.
