Reed are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy and established Accountancy Practice on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who can hit the ground running and support the payroll team during a busy period. This is an office based role, 3 to 4 days a week and the temp duration is from 3-6 months. Key Responsibilities \n\n • Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a varied portfolio of clients.\n, • Calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, statutory payments and deductions.\n, • Processing starters, leavers and changes to employee records.\n, • Managing SSP, SMP, SPP and other statutory payments.\n, • Submitting RTI reports to HMRC.\n, • Processing pension contributions and auto-enrolment requirements.\n, • Handling payroll queries from clients and employees.\n, • Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with current legislation.\n, • Assisting with payroll reconciliations and year-end payroll processes where required.\n\n Requirements \n\n • Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice or bureau environment.\n, • Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.\n, • Experience using payroll software such as Sage Payroll, BrightPay, Iris Payroll, Moneysoft or similar.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.\n, • Strong communication and client-facing skills.\n, • Ability to manage multiple payrolls and work to strict deadlines.\n, • Available to start at short notice.\n\n If you're an experienced Payroll Administrator available immediately or at short notice, we'd love to hear from you.
