Refrigeration Engineer \n\n • Annual Salary: £50,500 - £56,800 inclusive of door-to-door travel pay (£40,000 - £45,000 DOE basic salary)\n, • Location: Central London, Greater London, and the Home Counties\n, • Job Type: Full-time\n\n Join one of the UK's leading providers of commercial kitchen installation and maintenance services to the premium hospitality sector. We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer with F-Gas certification. This role involves working with prestigious hotels and restaurants, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services. \n Day-to-day of the role: \n\n • Attend breakdown callouts and carry out repairs across all types of commercial refrigeration equipment found in the hospitality sector.\n, • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing of refrigeration equipment on a scheduled basis.\n, • Work collaboratively as part of an established field engineering team, and independently on day-to-day callouts.\n, • Deal directly with clients on-site, including facilities managers, client-side engineers, and kitchen staff.\n, • Shift pattern runs from 6am–2pm, with the choice of joining our early or late shift team.\n, • Operate across Central London, Greater London, and the Home Counties.\n\n Required Skills & Qualifications: \n\n • Experience in fault-finding, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment — essential.\n, • F-Gas certification — essential.\n, • Experience with a range of refrigerants typical to the hospitality sector, e.g., R290, R134a, R32, R404a, R600a plus others.\n, • Experience across a range of system types, including localised/self-contained systems and remote condenser and pack/centralised systems.\n, • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability across a range of manufacturers and equipment types.\n, • Confident in communicating directly with clients.\n, • Competent in using Field Service Management software on a mobile device or tablet.\n, • Excellent time management and ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n, • Full UK Driving Licence.\n\n Benefits: \n\n • Competitive salary inclusive of door-to-door travel pay.\n, • Door-to-door pay — your working day starts and ends at home, with no timesheets required; lunch breaks are paid as part of your working day.\n, • Fully equipped company van, including Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, air conditioning, and more.\n, • 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service.\n, • Wellbeing Employee Assistance Programme.\n, • Company pension and life insurance.\n, • 20% discount on EE phone contracts & SIMs.\n, • Cycle-to-work scheme.\n, • Regular team events and opportunities to dine at our client sites including 5-star hotels and fine-dining restaurants.\n\n To apply for this Commercial Refrigeration Engineer position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position.
