MTrec’s new career opportunity \n Our client are leading specialists in their market sector. They are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Coordinator on a permanent basis. \n You will be working a 3-shift system (7-3/ 3-11/ 11-7). \n The Job you’ll do \n\n • Lead on-shift technical team, ensuring planned maintenance activities are carried out, supporting breakdown activities and related reporting.\n, • Manage and plan maintenance resource with respect to shift cover / holidays / planned activities / time and attendance system.\n, • Identify training needs of the technical team, be able to give on the job training as well as planning external training. Use of ILU, skill tests and gap analysis.\n, • Comprehensive reporting on daily breakdowns.\n, • Plan and track spend and budgets, relating to repairs and spares.\n, • Develop and maintain Computerised Maintenance System (CMS).\n, • Plan, manage and carry out improvement / Kaizen activities involving current production processes based on maintenance data in order to meet or exceed KPI's, ultimately improving profitability by cost Of Poor Quality (COPQ) improvement.\n, • Implement improvements, gather evidence of outcomes and communicate to all.\n, • Current production support, supporting Manufacturing teams with technical problem solving activities, whether related to breakdown or chronic issues.\n, • Support QRQC (Quick Response Quality Concern) activities, including root cause analysis and countermeasure development, ensure closure of PDCA loop.\n, • Responsibility for equipment safety in line with PUWER 98 Regulations.\n, • Responsible for managing equipment suppliers.\n, • Contractor and supplier management during work on client sites.\n, • Responsible for the safety of self and others, including contractors.\n, • Ensuring that risk assessments are in place for activities that your team carry out.\n, • Ensure any modification or improvements to equipment are carried out in line with PUWER\n, • regulations, adherence to client EBR (Equipment basic requirements), and in line with local\n, • Regulations (Supply of Machinery Safety Regulations).\n, • Support any NPI project work requests from the Engineering Department.\n, • Support in the achievement of all departmental and plant KPI's.\n\n About You \n\n • Technical role experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is essential.\n, • Experience in assembly and processing of steel & stainless-steel products is desirable.\n, • Experience of manufacturing technologies including MIG welding, Resistance welding, Pressing, Tube forming, Industrial robots, Control systems, and Omron & Siemens PLCs is desirable.\n, • Excellent Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding skills.\n, • Team Supervision Experience.\n, • Be willing to work a 3 shift system.\n, • The flexibility to be involved in all aspects of the production process and equipment, and the associated services, is essential.\n, • Experience of maintenance stores management including ordering and supplier management.\n, • Good Understanding and experience of root cause analysis.\n, • Educated to minimum of HNC level or equivalent.\n, • Indentured apprenticeship in an Engineering / Maintenance discipline.\n, • Candidates with considerable specific experience will be considered on merit.\n\n The Rewards and the Benefits \n\n • Excellent benefits package.\n, • Competitive salary.\n, • Low staff turnover.\n, • Regional employer of choice\n
