We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our community-focused team at Royton Pharmacy. This vital role ensures the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately dispensing prescribed medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Labelling and packaging dispensed items in accordance with legal requirements.
- Managing and maintaining pharmaceutical stock, including ordering, receiving, and rotating products.
- Assisting with patient queries, providing information and advice on medication use, and referring to the pharmacist as appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring strict confidentiality.
- Supporting the efficient running of the pharmacy with general administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is highly preferred.
- An NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
- A deep commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
