Arcade Attendant – Newquay Holiday Park
Join our team as an Arcade Attendant for the 2026 season at Newquay Holiday Park. We're looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals who enjoy providing excellent customer service and thrive in a lively, customer-focused environment.
Contract Details
- Position: Part-time
- Contract: Fixed-term (March to October – 8 months)
- Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours per week
- Additional Hours: Extra shifts available during busy periods, typically 15–20 hours per week
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
- Location: Newquay Holiday Park
Working Hours
Shifts are scheduled according to business demand and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays.
Off-Peak Season
- Arcade open: 10:00am – 10:00pm
- Two 6-hour shifts each day
Peak Season
- Arcade open: 9:00am – 11:00pm
- Three shifts each day, including a shorter evening shift during busy periods
Key Responsibilities
As an Arcade Attendant, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests by:
- Delivering friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting guests with enquiries and resolving issues where possible
- Following all gambling legislation, betting regulations, and company procedures
- Keeping the arcade clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Maintaining and replenishing prize machines
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the prize shop
- Working closely with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations
About You

Essential Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Available to work weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays
- Own transport is preferred, as public transport is limited
Experience
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
