Sales DirectorPeterborough | Office Based£75,000 – £150,000+ package (Basic Salary + Uncapped OTE)Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm | PermanentAre you an ambitious Sales Director or Head of Sales with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering significant business growth?We are recruiting for a fast-growing commercial finance business looking for an experienced sales leader to take ownership of its sales function during an exciting period of expansion.This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership position where you will lead and develop a team, improve sales performance and conversion rates, and implement the processes and strategy needed to support the business's next stage of growth.You'll work closely with the Director and have genuine influence over the future direction of the business – making this an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an ambitious, entrepreneurial environment.What You'll Be Doing\n\n • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Finance Brokers to achieve ambitious revenue targets.\n, • Create a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, development and results.\n, • Coach the team through regular one-to-ones, pipeline reviews, call coaching and deal reviews.\n, • Take ownership of overall sales performance, monitoring KPIs, conversion rates and pipeline activity.\n, • Implement scalable sales processes and performance frameworks to increase productivity and revenue.\n, • Develop and execute sales strategies to support continued business growth.\n, • Recruit, onboard and develop high-performing sales professionals as the team expands.\n, • Identify and develop future leaders within the business.\n, • Work closely with the Director to identify new commercial opportunities and deliver the long-term growth strategy.\nAbout YouWe're looking for an established senior sales leader who can demonstrate tangible results in growing revenue, improving performance and developing successful sales teams.You'll ideally have:\n\n, • At least 5 years' experience as a Sales Director, Head of Sales, Commercial Director or in a comparable senior sales leadership position.\n, • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams of 10+ people.\n, • A strong track record within a high-growth business, ideally with experience helping scale a business from seven-figure to eight-figure revenue.\n, • Evidence of delivering measurable improvements in revenue, conversion rates, profitability and team performance.\n, • Experience implementing KPIs, sales processes, forecasting and performance management frameworks.\n, • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn sales strategy into measurable results.\n, • An entrepreneurial, results-focused approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat's In It For You?\n\n, • £75,000 – £150,000+ package, including basic salary and uncapped OTE.\n, • Uncapped performance bonus.\n, • Executive benefits package, including a company vehicle.\n, • Company pension.\n, • Company events and incentive trips.\n, • 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays.\n, • Ongoing executive and leadership development.\n, • The opportunity to build and shape a growing sales function.\n, • Direct influence over the future growth and success of the business.\nIf you're an experienced sales leader looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, build a high-performing team and play a key role in scaling an ambitious business, we'd love to hear from you.
