Role Summary The Group EDI Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the global EDI strategy across all divisions and sites within the group, spanning EMEA, SAM, and APAC regions. This role ensures the standardization of EDI processes, supervises local EDI teams, and drives operational excellence through centralized governance. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional and international collaboration. Key Responsibilities Strategy and Governance : • Develop and lead the group's global EDI strategy in alignment with corporate objectives., • Establish standardized EDI protocols and practices across all sites to ensure consistency., • Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12) and partner-specific requirements. Team Leadership and Coordination : • Directly oversee local EDI teams across multiple regions (EMEA, LATAM, APAC)., • Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues reported by local teams., • Monitor team performance using defined KPIs and provide regular feedback. Operational Management : • Centralize the management of critical mappings, configurations, and integrations across the group., • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements., • Lead the resolution of major incidents affecting EDI workflows. Project Management : • Coordinate integration projects for new business partners or ERP systems globally., • Manage resources, budgets, timelines, and deliverables for multi-site implementations., • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all group-wide EDI processes. Cross-functional Collaboration : • Work closely with IT, logistics, finance, procurement, and supply chain departments to align EDI processes with business needs., • Represent the group in technical discussions with external partners regarding EDI requirements., • Train local teams on new tools or methodologies to enhance operational capabilities. Continuous Improvement : • Conduct regular audits of EDI systems to identify inefficiencies or risks., • Propose innovative solutions to harmonize workflows across sites., • Stay updated on technological advancements in EDI to integrate relevant features. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field., • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role managing multi-site or international operations., • Proven track record in leading decentralized teams., • Expertise in EDI protocols (ODETTE, EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI X12) and integration tools (e.g., TSIM, SAP IDoc)., • Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP., • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multicultural teams., • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)., • Strategic mindset with problem-solving capabilities., • Experience in the automotive or industrial sector., • Familiarity with regional regulatory requirements across Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific., • Expertise in managing complex international projects.
