ppAt Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters. /p h3Position /h3 pA healthier future. It’s what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Within bCore Lab Development (CLD) /b, a division of bRoche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS) /b, we focus on developing cutting‑edge test solutions spanning clinical and immunochemistry, coagulation, mass spectrometry, and advanced laboratory automation. As part of our Solution Automation Integration and Testing group, you will operate within the bcobas ultra omni Solution Layer /b. Here, a "Solution" represents a massive System of Systems (SoS) where physical transport automation, complex analytical units, and digital workflow software interact seamlessly. /p h3Your Role /h3 pAs a bSolution Integration Architect /b, you will lead the technical orchestration of our validation campaigns, interfacing across multiple Product Teams and strategic external partners. /p pYou will work in close, hand‑in‑hand partnership with the Solution Integration Manager, forming a highly collaborative leadership duo. In this tandem, you will act as the technical authority who determines what, where, and how to test, as well as which emulators and simulation assets to deploy. You own the architectural definition of the Solution Integration Strategy and design the physical, hybrid, and virtual lab topologies needed for complex testing. Partnering closely with Solution Definition, Systems Architects, and your managerial counterpart, you ensure that both functional and non‑functional requirements (performance, reliability, scale) are verifiably testable at the E2E solution level. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOverarching Integration Strategy: Architect the master Solution Integration Strategy. Define the integration levels, quality gates between those levels, and the Continuous Integration (CI) roadmap. Establish governance for global implementation environments and automated verification pipelines /li liLab Emulator Topology Strategy: Define the virtual, hybrid, and physical lab setup strategy. Lead the conceptual design and architecture of the digital twin landscapes, and hardware/software emulator topologies required to accurately mirror different systems that compose the solution /li liDesign for Testability: Act as the final technical gatekeeper by reviewing system use cases, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and high‑level requirements to guarantee verifiable testability at the solution level. Identify and prioritize critical E2E solution workflows based on architectural risk /li liCross‑Functional Boundaries: Establish and enforce clear cross‑functional test and technical responsibilities across the project’s various delivery nodes (EX: navify Integrator, navify Lab Operator, cobas ultra control unit, deployment service tools …) /li liTechnical Guidance Automation Vision: Provide dedicated technical leadership, automation strategy, and coaching to embedded integration engineers, test automation developers, and analysts across the Solution Train. Facilitate bidirectional feedback with delivery streams to ensure consistent usage of quality gates /li liTechnical Validation Campaign Leadership: Technically support the End‑to‑End (E2E) integration campaigns to verify that the complete system of systems meets intended performance, reliability, and customer needs, covering both functional and non‑functional requirements /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liEducation: University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related multi‑disciplinary discipline /li liExperience: 10+ years of deep technical experience in multi‑domain systems engineering, architecture design, and complex system integration, including at least 3 years explicitly focused on System‑of‑Systems (SoS) environments /li liTechnical Depth: Hands‑on background and documentation experience in test automation frameworks, continuous integration (CI) pipelines, DevOps, network topologies, and cloud computing. Proven mastery in emulator topology definition and design, as well as virtualized/simulated environment modeling /li liSoft Skills: Highly proficient in dealing with ambiguity and uncertain project conditions; possesses the absolute willingness to speak up, challenge delivery choices, and voice concerns constructively when quality or deliverables are at risk /li /ul h3Who we are /h3 pA healthier future drives us to innovate. Together, more than 100,000 employees across the globe are dedicated to advance science, ensuring everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Our efforts result in more than 26 million people treated with our medicines and over 30 billion tests conducted using our Diagnostics products. We empower each other to explore new possibilities, foster creativity, and keep our ambitions high, so we can deliver life‑changing healthcare solutions that make a global impact. /p pLet’s build a healthier future, together. /p pbRoche is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
