ph3About the Role /h3 pMAIT Space Systems delivers leading space technology and solutions for commercial and government customers around the globe. From the smallest electronic parts and spacecraft equipment to in-orbit delivery of satellites and associated services, reaching for the stars is the daily business of Space Systems. /p pWe are looking for a bPerformance Business Improver /b who will work in close relation with AIT management, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineering and Production to ensure an industrial process. /p pYou will belong to a dynamic team in a department which is responsible for Industrial Planning, Performance Control in Getafe space MAIT plant. You will work with a team across multiple disciplines to deliver on Quality, on Time and on Cost. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManaging master production planning for the designated production areas according to the projects milestones commitments and performance targets. /li liEnsuring robust communication between the AIT managers and Production areas. /li liContributing to the MRP process, carrying out the activities associated with his or her role within the overall process. /li liReporting at TSMS plant-level according to the MPS process, consolidating 3-axis resources plan (manpower, machines, surfaces). /li liValidating with the relevant stakeholders the recovery plans for the projects. /li liProcess Analysis Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing MAIT processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using lean methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen). /li liPerformance Monitoring Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to MAIT operations, developing regular reports and dashboards to monitor progress and communicate results to stakeholders. /li liProblem Solving Root Cause Analysis: Facilitate problem‑solving initiatives using structured methodologies (e.g., PPS, PDCAs…) to identify root causes of performance deviations and implement sustainable corrective actions. /li liImplementation of Improvements: Design, develop, and implement new processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize MAIT operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices, exchanging with other Airbus plants. /li liChange Management Training: Drive change management activities related to process improvements, including developing training plans and materials and delivering training to MAIT teams to ensure successful adoption of new methods. /li liCollaboration Stakeholder Management: Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including production, engineering, quality, and supply chain, to gather requirements, share best practices, and gain buy-in for improvement initiatives. /li liBest Practice Sharing: Contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices within MAIT and across Airbus Defence and Space, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. /li liProject Management: Manage and facilitate improvement projects from conception to completion, including defining scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liIndustrial Engineer or Aerospace Engineer Degree or similar. /li liExperience in project management, manufacturing and production control. /li liPro‑activity and autonomy.
