The Project Coordinator – Base Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and coordinating heavy maintenance, modifications, repairs, and cost efficiency during scheduled base maintenance. This role ensures that maintenance projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Project Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, including engineering teams, technicians, suppliers, and airline operators, to ensure smooth operations. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management Coordination • Plan, organize, and oversee aircraft base maintenance projects from initiation to completion., • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements., • Monitor maintenance progress, man‑hours utilization, and resolve issues to avoid delays or cost overruns., • Oversee estimation and cost acceptance of NRC man‑hours with operators., • Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with OEM and regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, etc.).Technical Oversight & Compliance, • Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure that work meets technical and regulatory standards., • Coordinate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance., • Ensure proper documentation and certification of completed maintenance work.Stakeholder Communication, • Serve as the primary point of contact between maintenance teams, airline customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities., • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and solutions to senior management and clients, including Gantt chart updates., • Facilitate daily meetings, project status reviews, and related reporting.Education & Experience, • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, aviation management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., • Minimum 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role., • Strong knowledge of Part‑145 regulations, maintenance planning, and technical records., • Fluent Spanish and English are essential; English minimum B2/C1 level required for daily communication with international teams, customers, and management.Technical Management Skills, • Strong understanding of aircraft systems., • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and service bulletins., • Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems (AMOS is an added value)., • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Certifications & Additional Requirements, • Holding or working towards a Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is an advantage., • EASA/FAA Part‑66 License (B1/B2) is preferred but not mandatory., • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment., • Flexibility for shift work and potential travel as required.What We Offer, • Permanent contract., • Hybrid working model., • Private medical insurance with Sanitas after 6 months of employment., • Dynamic and international working environment., • Professional development in high‑demand environments., • Salary range: €30,000 – €40,000 gross per year, depending on experience, qualifications, technical background and objective role‑related criteria.Equal Opportunities Commitment Heavytech is committed to a fair and merit‑based employment policy. xcskxlj All applications will be assessed based on experience, qualifications, and the ability to meet the essential requirements of the position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
