Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Project Owner with a strong technical background to lead and manage projects within a software development environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing tech-related projects, proficiency in agile methodologies, and technical expertise to effectively communicate with development teams, designers, and stakeholders. /p pTableau and BI Analytics systems are key platforms for storing the data of our connected assets, and we provide support to our customers and customized recommendations. /p h3Position Overview /h3 pThe Product Owner plays a central role in defining product value, aligning business needs with technical delivery, and ensuring that the development team delivers outcomes that maximize business impact. This role acts as the strategic bridge between stakeholders and platform teams, ensuring that functional demands are properly prioritized and aligned with both business objectives and platform capabilities. According to industry standards, Product Owners define product vision, manage the product backlog, and ensure delivered features meet customer and stakeholder needs. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProduct Vision Strategy /li liDefine and communicate a clear BI and Analytics product long‑term vision that aligns with business goals and stakeholder needs. /li liBuild, maintain, and evolve the product roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and company objectives. /li liEnsure product strategy supports the broader platform strategy, lifecycle management, and technology roadmap. /li liBacklog Ownership Prioritization /li liOwn and manage the BI and Analytics product backlog, prioritizing items based on business value and feasibility. /li liDecompose features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and business context. /li liReview evolving requirements and ensure alignment with governance, platform constraints, and strategic goals. /li liDecommission non‑used dashboards and complete technical debt reviews on time. /li liStakeholder Management /li liAct as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements. /li liFacilitate workshops, feedback loops, and product discussions to ensure clarity and alignment. /li liAlign and prioritize functional demands, holding decision authority for functionality while collaborating with Platform Owners (who retain veto rights on functional items). /li liAgile Delivery Team Collaboration /li liWork closely with Scrum or Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives. /li liSupport development teams with just‑in‑time elaboration of user stories and requirement details. /li liRemove impediments or escalation them to ensure smooth delivery. /li liContinuous Improvement Value Maximization /li liContinuously evaluate BI and Analytics product performance, customer satisfaction, and feature adoption to refine product direction. /li liUse analytics and user feedback to drive prioritization and product enhancements. /li liPromote practices such as communities of practice, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem‑solving within product and platform teams. /li liCollaboration With Business Product Owner /li liEnsure BI and Analytics product requirements align with platform capabilities, security requirements, and lifecycle constraints. /li liWork with Platform Owners on technology‑related demands, understanding platform transformations such as cloud migrations or decommissioning activities. /li liSupport compliance with security standards and ensure product features align with security‑by‑design principles. /li /ul h3Required Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liCore Product Ownership Competencies /li liStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban. /li liAbility to define product goals, prioritize features, and manage complex backlogs. /li liSkilled in translating business outcomes into actionable user stories. /li liSolid capability to balance user needs, stakeholder interests, and technical feasibility. /li /ul h3Communication Leadership Skills /h3 ul liExceptional communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration with engineering, business, and leadership teams. /li liStrong facilitation and negotiation skills to align diverse groups around product priorities. /li liProven ability to influence without authority and drive cross‑functional decision‑making. /li /ul h3Technical Analytical Skills /h3 ul liGood understanding of enterprise IT systems (bonus if experienced with large‑scale or customer‑facing systems). /li liFamiliarity with product analytics, KPI tracking, and data‑driven decision‑making. /li liAbility to assess risks, identify issues, and support mitigation planning for product delivery. /li liKnowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies. /li /ul h3Mindset Behavior /h3 ul liCustomer‑centric mindset with continuous improvement orientation. /li liAbility to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and organizational learning. /li liStrong ownership mentality with a proactive approach to problem solving. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul li4–8 years of experience in BI and Analytics Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Solution Design, or related roles. /li liExperience working with global platforms, complex technology ecosystems, or enterprise‑level programs. /li liAgile certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe POPM) is a plus. /li liExperience coordinating functional demands in environments with strong platform governance is highly valued. /li /ul h3Looking to make an IMPACT with your career? /h3 pWhen you are thinking about joining a new team, culture matters.
