ppIMDEA Energy is opening a Development Engineer Position in the Electrical Systems Unit, looking for talented and motivated candidates to lead hardware and software development activities and support technology commercialisation. /p pThe requirements are as follows: /p pbTasks Description: /b /p ul liWork on the lab integration of renewable and storage technologies real-time management of test data. /li liWork and support commercial projects and technology transfer. /li liPreparing, modelling and managing “Proof of Concept” tests. /li liManage hardware and software updates and maintenance tasks. /li liCoordinate the technical support team. /li /ul pRequirements /p pbCompulsory Requirements: /b /p ul liAn official university degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems or Industrial Engineering or related disciplines. /li li5 years of experience in circuit design of electric and electronic systems, mounting and test of electronic boards. /li /ul pbOther merits to value: /b /p ul liAn official MSc degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems or Industrial Engineering or related disciplines. /li liKnowledge and experience in design, modelling and control of power electronics converters. /li liKnowledge and experience in design of embedded systems as well as their connection to sensors and actuators. /li liKnowledge of Texas Instruments microprocessors and DSPs. /li liKnowledge of National Instruments control and acquisition platforms (LabVIEW). /li liKnowledge of computer networks and related protocols. /li liFluent oral and written communication skills in English. /li /ul pSelection Criteria /p ul liAdequacy of the candidate's training and experience to the requested profile. /li liWork experience related to the profile of the job position. /li liKnowledge of English. /li liMotivation for accomplishing high-quality and maintainable software systems for research. /li /ul pConditions /p ul libRemuneration: /b Depending upon qualification and expertise. /li /ul p*The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System. /p ul libContract: /b Contract in accordance with current legislation. /li /ul pEqual opportunities are guaranteed in the selection process, without any forms of discrimination.
