ph3Franchise Senior Manager Iberia - Minor Hotels EuAm - Madrid /h3 pLocation: Madrid, ES Spain /p pDepartment: Asset and Development /p pbMinor Hotels /b is a global hospitality group operating over 560 hotels, resorts and residences in 56 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and the Americas. /p pAs a hotel owner, operator and investor, Minor Hotels fulfils the needs and desires of today’s global travellers through its diverse portfolio of 12 hotel brands – Anantara, Minor Reserve, Avani, Colbert Collection, Elewana, The Wolseley, NH, NH Collection, iStay, nhow, Oaks and Tivoli. /p pAs part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Hotels Europe Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands. /p h3bWhat will be your mission? /b /h3 pThe bFranchise Senior Manager (Iberia) /b will support the Development function in driving the expansion of Minor Hotels’ portfolio across Spain Portugal, with a particular focus on opportunities related to bfranchise and asset-light growth models /b. /p pThe role will be responsible for bidentifying, sourcing and advancing new hotel opportunities /b, working closely with owners, investors and internal teams to evaluate potential projects and support the execution of deals. /p pThis position is aimed at profiles with a strong background in bhotel development, real estate or hospitality expansion /b, with the ability to operate in a commercial, fast-paced environment and contribute to the bgrowth of the pipeline and closing of new franchise agreements /b. /p h3bWhat will you do? /b /h3 pbDevelopment Deal Sourcing: /b /p ul liProactively identify and originate hotel opportunities across Iberia (conversions, rebrands, new developments) /li liBuild pipeline across owners, investors, white label operators and advisors /li liDevelop and nurture strong relationships with hotel owners, developers, white label operators, brokers, and other key industry stakeholders. /li liIdentify off-market and proprietary opportunities that align with Minor Hotels' brand and regional strategy. /li liRepresent Minor Hotels at industry events, conferences and roadshows to strengthen brand visibility and deal flow. /li /ul pbNegotiation Structuring: /b /p ul liLead commercial and strategic assessments of potential franchise opportunities. /li liCollaborate with Feasibility to review market dynamics, competitive positioning, return expectations, and long-term value creation. /li liPartner with Legal to develop term sheets, negotiate franchise agreements and secure internal approvals. /li liPrepare and present business cases, financial summaries and strategic rationales to senior leadership. /li /ul pbOnboarding Transition to Franchise Support: /b /p ul liCoordinate all pre-contract and pre-opening phases, including brand fit evaluation, technical alignment and compliance with franchise requirements. /li liManage the transition to the SVP Franchise Support, ensuring a clear and comprehensive handover for ongoing operational relationship management. /li liOversee the initial onboarding period to ensure the franchise partner fully understands brand standards, systems and obligations. /li /ul pbDeal Assessment, Negotiation Structuring: /b /p ul liAct as the primary point of contact for owners throughout the development, negotiation and pre-opening stages. /li liProvide strategic guidance to owners regarding brand selection, conversion requirements and commercial expectations. /li liIdentify future opportunities for conversions, brand upgrades, multi-property agreements or portfolio deals. /li /ul h3bWhat are we looking for? /b /h3 pbExperience /b /p ul li5+ years in hotel Development, Investment, consultancy areas within Hospitality. /li liDemonstrated experience working directly with hotel owners, investors or franchise partners. /li liStrong understanding of franchising models. /li /ul pbQualifications /b /p ul liEducation: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business. /li liTechnical Skills: Good understanding of financial concepts related to hotel development (feasibility, investment logic, returns) understanding of brand standards, familiarity with asset light operating models strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. /li liLanguages: High level in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus for international expansion. /li /ul h3bWhy choose us? /b /h3 pAt bMinor Hotels Europe Americas /b we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and cross-cultural experiences.
