ph3Security Technician specialized in Fire Protection Systems /h3 pThe Physical Security Technician will be responsible for managing Fire Protection Systems, overseeing maintenance services, and supporting the implementation of new security projects. This role is essential to ensuring the safety of facilities, maintaining regulatory compliance, and assisting in the continuous improvement of physical security measures. The responsibilities of the profile will be divided into the following topics: /p ul liMonitor the installation and maintenance of PCI equipment such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, alarms, and sprinklers. /li liEnsure that all fire safety equipment isfully operational and compliant with applicable regulations. /li liConduct regular inspections and internal audits of PCI elements to ensure the maximum effectiveness of safety systems. /li liCoordinate with external vendors to ensure timely maintenance of all physical security systems. /li liSupervise the quality of service provided by contractors and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. /li /ul h3External Firefighting Team Management /h3 ul liLead and manage the internal/external firefighting team, ensuring proper coordination, availability, and operational readiness. /li liServe as the primary point of contact for firefighting team members, addressing concerns and facilitating communication with management. /li /ul h3External PCI Maintenance Service Management /h3 ul liManage and supervise external contractors responsible for regulatory PCI maintenance, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety requirements. /li liCoordinate scheduled maintenance activities with external service providers, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. /li liReview and approve maintenance reports, certifications, and regulatory documentation provided by contractors. /li liEnsure corrective actions from maintenance inspections are implemented promptly and effectively. /li liTrack maintenance schedules and ensure all regulatory deadlines are met to maintain full compliance. /li /ul h3Support for New Physical Security Projects /h3 ul liAssist in the planning and implementation of new physical security projects, from the design phase to final execution, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. /li liCollaborate in risk assessments to identify necessary improvements or new implementations related to physical security. /li liWork with other departments to ensure new security measures are effectively integrated into daily operations. /li /ul h3Regulatory Compliance and Training /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with current regulations related to physical security and PCI, staying up to date with regulatory changes. /li liSupport training activities for staff on emergency procedures and the use of PCI equipment. /li liMaintain documentation and evidence for regulatory audits and certifications. /li liDevelop and update emergency response procedures and fire safety protocols. /li /ul h3Coordination with the primary responsible of Physical Security /h3 ul liCoordinate with the primary responsible for physical security to provide support and ensure seamless service when necessary, such as during absences or vacations, maintaining full cooperation between both areas to ensure comprehensive security coverage. /li liProvide backup support for physical security operations, demonstrating flexibility and cross-functional capability. /li liSupport in leading emergency response coordination during fire incidents. /li /ul h3Administrative and Documentation Management /h3 ul liMaintain comprehensive records of inspections, maintenance activities, incidents, KPIs and training sessions. /li liEnsure proper documentation flow between internal departments and external service providers. /li liManage administrative tasks related to service contracts, warranties, costs and compliance certificates. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liTraining or equivalent experience in physical security and fire protection systems is required. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pThe following qualifications are required for this profile: /p ul liExperience in emergency response or equivalent practical experience in fire protection. /li liAbility to manage multiple tasks and coordinate maintenance services. /li liKnowledge of physical security standards and fire safety regulations. /li liStrong organizational and communication skills. /li liFlexibility and teamwork skills to support cross-functional responsibilities. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting. /li liLeadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate firefighting personnel. /li liExperience managing external service providers and supervising contractor performance. /li /ul h3Other considered assets /h3 ul liExperience in maintenance coordination or facility management. /li liProject
