The HR Business Partner – People Operations is responsible for delivering consistent, compliant and high-quality People Operations across PayXpert, ensuring an excellent employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. The role acts as the operational partner for managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employee relations, industrial relations, performance operations, rewards administration, People policies and employment practices while ensuring operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions. This position requires strong expertise in employment legislation, payroll coordination, employee relations and HR operations, with a particular focus on supporting employees across France, Spain and the United Kingdom. Key Responsibilities People Operations & Employee Lifecycle • Manage the operational delivery of the employee lifecycle across Spain, France and the United Kingdom, including contractual changes, promotions, compensation updates, mobility and offboarding., • Ensure employee records, contracts and People documentation remain accurate, complete and compliant., • Support managers and employees on operational People matters, policies and procedures., • Coordinate operational People activities with payroll, Finance and external providers., • Ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across all operational touchpoints., • Deliver accurate, compliant and efficient People Operations throughout the employee lifecycle. Employee Relations, Industrial Relations & Employment Compliance • Coordinate the operational delivery of PayXpert's performance review processes., • Support salary review cycles, variable compensation administration and compensation changes., • Coordinate employee recognition initiatives, including the Values Awards programme., • Manage employee surveys and support engagement initiatives across the organisation., • Analyse employee feedback and recommend operational improvements., • Support employee engagement through effective execution of performance, rewards and recognition programmes. Compliance, Governance & Risk Management • Ensure full compliance with employment legislation in Spain, France and the UK, working closely with external advisors where required., • Manage employment documentation, audits and reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy and traceability., • Support internal and external audits, inspections and compliance reviews related to employment practices., • Proactively identify operational and legal risks and recommend corrective actions. People Analytics, HR Systems & Operational Excellence • Maintain and optimise HR systems including Factorial, SharePoint and Notion., • Ensure the integrity, quality and confidentiality of employee data., • Prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce metrics., • Coordinate People surveys and analyse workforce data., • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows and systems., • Support continuous process improvement through HR technology and data-driven decision-making. Health, Safety & Employee Wellbeing • Coordinate Health & Safety activities across all jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local legislation., • Support occupational health initiatives, mandatory training and risk assessments., • Coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives promoting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing., • Monitor absence trends and support wellbeing-related actions where appropriate., • Manage Health & Safety documentation and reporting requirements., • Promote safe, healthy and supportive workplaces. Business Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner with managers across the organisation to provide operational HR guidance., • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance and external providers on People-related matters., • Support organisational projects requiring People Operations expertise., • Contribute to the successful implementation of People initiatives and operational improvements., • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. Requirements Education & Formal Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law, Psychology or a related discipline., • Professional certification in Human Resources (CIPD, SHRM or equivalent) would be advantageous., • Additional training in Employment Law, Compensation & Benefits, Health & Safety or HR Analytics would be considered an asset. Experience • 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, HR Business Partnering or Employee Relations within international organisations., • Experience managing operational People processes across the employee lifecycle., • Experience supporting employee relations, employment law and industrial relations activities., • Experience coordinating performance reviews, salary review processes and employee engagement initiatives., • Experience working with HRIS platforms and People Analytics. Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR operational practices., • Experience using Factorial, SharePoint and Notion or equivalent HR platforms., • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills., • Experience preparing HR reports, dashboards and People Analytics., • Understanding of payroll coordination and compensation administration., • Experience developing or maintaining HR policies and operational documentation. Languages • Fluent English is mandatory., • Fluent French is mandatory., • Spanish would be considered highly advantageous., • Additional European languages would be considered an asset.
