CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. It is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus and currently hosts 200 members from across the world. Research programs at CRAG make extensive use of genomic technologies and large sets of genetic and genomic data. Responsibilities • Conduct innovative research to investigate responses to cold temperature in Arabidopsis., • Plan experiments to ensure the timely generation of scientific results., • Present project progress through internal group seminars and center-wide seminars., • Communicate and disseminate research findings through scientific conferences., • Get involved in the supervision of MSc students. Requirements • PhD in Plant Biology or a related field. Experience • Strong background in gene expression regulation., • Previous experience in RNA‑seq experiments and data analysis., • Experience handling Arabidopsis plants., • Experience with ATAC‑seq techniques. Skills and Competencies • Advanced level of English., • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team., • Demonstrated scientific achievements and success in previous roles.
