Portfolio Manager - Visible Radiance The Portfolio Manager - Visible Radiance is responsible for leading the product marketing strategy, market positioning and portfolio performance of the Visible Radiance product division. The role owns the translation of scientific evidence, biological mechanisms and product capabilities into clear, differentiated and commercially effective value propositions, claims architecture and go-to-market messaging. As part of the company's evolving pillar-based marketing model, this position acts as the marketing and commercial strategy owner for the Visible Radiance division, ensuring alignment with the company's overall brand, corporate narrative and communication standards. The role owns the market positioning, product marketing strategy, value proposition, claims architecture and portfolio direction for the Visible Radiance product division. R&D Project Managers retain ownership of technical development, scientific feasibility, project execution, technical timelines, validation activities and external research partner coordination. Success is measured by the clarity, differentiation and adoption of the Visible Radiance positioning in the market, together with the growth, profitability and strategic development of the product division. Key Responsibilities • Define and maintain the strategic positioning of the Visible Radiance product line, ensuring a clear link between biological mechanisms, product benefits and visible consumer outcomes such as density, texture, tone and resilience., • Develop and update product line narratives, value propositions, claims frameworks and communication platforms for global use., • Ensure Visible Radiance is positioned as a biologically grounded ingestible product domain, avoiding cosmetic-only narratives., • Maintain clear differentiation from adjacent product divisions such as Metabolic Health and Balance., • Define product and market requirements for new product development and portfolio evolution, working with R&D Project Managers to translate these requirements into technical project plans, development milestones and validation activities. Product Marketing & Brand Alignment • Own the product marketing strategy for the Visible Radiance division, including positioning, value proposition, messaging hierarchy and claims architecture., • Define the core product and category narratives that translate scientific evidence and product capabilities into customer-relevant market propositions., • Ensure that all Visible Radiance product marketing activities are aligned with the company's overall brand strategy, corporate narrative, tone of voice and communication standards., • Coordinate with central or corporate marketing resources, where applicable, to support the development of campaigns, product materials, digital content, events, trade shows and customer-facing communication assets., • Ensure consistency and quality of Visible Radiance messaging across regions, channels and customer interactions., • Provide strategic content direction for product communication materials, ensuring that claims, benefits and scientific messages are accurate, differentiated and commercially relevant., • Shape the product portfolio strategy for Visible Radiance, including product positioning, lifecycle management, prioritization of opportunities and portfolio optimization., • Monitor product line performance, including sales, profitability, margin, market trends and customer feedback, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement., • Contribute to pricing strategy and value-based pricing frameworks in collaboration with Commercial, Finance and relevant business stakeholders., • Support business cases for new product concepts, product improvements and portfolio expansion initiatives. Scientific Evidence Translation & Claims • Translate scientific and clinical evidence into differentiated, credible and compliant market propositions., • Work with R&D, Regulatory and Scientific teams to interpret evidence and define substantiation logic for claims and customer communication., • Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of all product line messaging across regions, channels, customer interactions and internal materials., • Act as the escalation point for complex market-facing scientific questions, coordinating input from R&D and Regulatory when required., • Contribute to ideation and new product development by identifying unmet market needs, customer pain points and commercially viable product concepts., • Collaborate with R&D Project Managers throughout the innovation process to ensure that product concepts remain aligned with market requirements, customer value and commercial feasibility., • Provide market, claims, positioning, pricing and portfolio input into NPD prioritization, while R&D Project Managers retain ownership of technical development planning and project execution., • Drive the development of indication-led product platforms that translate biological variability into commercially viable concepts. Customer & Commercial Support • Support high-value customer engagements as a senior market and product line counterpart, particularly where scientific evidence and value proposition need to be connected., • Provide product line expertise to Commercial teams during strategic customer discussions, presentations and opportunity development., • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to ensure that branded and product-line materials are aligned, accurate and commercially effective. Cross-functional Collaboration • Work closely with R&D Project Managers to translate product development progress, scientific evidence and technical capabilities into commercially relevant product positioning and value propositions., • Collaborate with Regulatory to ensure that claims, substantiation strategies and customer-facing messages are compliant with applicable requirements. Partner with Commercial teams to support customer engagement, sales enablement, market activation and opportunity development for the Visible Radiance division., • Collaborate with central or corporate marketing resources to ensure brand consistency and effective execution of communication assets, while retaining ownership of the product marketing strategy for the division., • Act as the key interface between Product Marketing, R&D, Regulatory and Commercial teams for the Visible Radiance product division., • Maintain clear alignment with the other product divisions to ensure strategic consistency, avoid overlap and support a coherent overall portfolio architecture. Education & Training • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Nutrition, Food Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Business, Marketing or related discipline., • Advanced scientific or business qualification is a plus. Experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, category management, market development or strategic marketing roles, preferably within the nutraceutical, functional ingredients, food supplements, beauty-from-within, health and wellness, pharmaceutical or life sciences industries., • Experience working in B2B environments with scientifically supported products, clinical evidence, technical claims or regulated product communication is highly desirable., • Previous experience collaborating with R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and Marketing teams in cross‐functional product development, portfolio management or go‐to‐market initiatives will be valued. Technical Skills • Strong understanding of product marketing, product positioning, value proposition development and go‐to‐market strategy., • Ability to translate scientific evidence, biological mechanisms and technical product information into clear and commercially compelling customer messages., • Solid knowledge of portfolio management, lifecycle management, pricing input, margin logic and business case development., • Understanding of claims development, substantiation principles and regulatory constraints in health, nutrition, beauty‐from‐within or related categories., • Ability to work effectively with R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and Marketing stakeholders in a matrix environment., • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market trends, product performance, customer needs and competitive dynamics., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling and presentation capabilities., • Languages: English, minimum C1 level.
