If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. /p h3JOB SUMMARY /h3 pWorking within our luxury hotel environment, the Executive Housekeeper plays a pivotal leadership role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service. This role is responsible for leading the Housekeeping team, driving operational excellence, and ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces consistently reflect our luxury brand standards. As Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the day‑to‑day housekeeping operation, develop and support a high‑performing team, manage resources effectively, and collaborate across departments to create memorable guest experiences. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. /p h3Managing Housekeeping Operations /h3 ul liEnsures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner. /li liWorks effectively with the Engineering department on guestroom maintenance needs. /li liSupervises the property general cleaning schedule. /li liObtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check‑outs or discharges to prepare work assignments. /li liInventories stock to ensure adequate supplies. /li liSupervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures. /li liAssists in the ordering of guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms. /li liSupports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space. /li liCommunicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding. /li liEnsures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms. /li /ul h3Managing Departmental Costs /h3 ul liParticipates in the management of the department’s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. /li liUnderstands the impact of department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. /li liComprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department. /li /ul h3Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service /h3 ul liResponds to and handles guest problems and complaints. /li liStrives to improve service performance. /li liEmpowers employees to provide excellent customer service. /li liEmphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Conducting Human Resources Activities /h3 ul liParticipates as needed in the investigation of employee accidents. /li liSupervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met. /li liEnsures employees understand expectations and parameters. /li liEnsures property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process. /li liObserves service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals. /li liUses all available on the job training tools to train new room attendants and provide follow‑up training as necessary. /li liParticipates in the employee performance appraisal process, providing feedback as needed. /li liAssists as needed in the interviewing and hiring of employee team members with the appropriate skills. /li liSupports a departmental orientation program for employees to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job. /li liParticipates in employee progressive discipline procedures. /li /ul h3PROFILE /h3 ul liInspirational and people‑focused leader with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service. /li liProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams in a luxury hotel environment. /li liStrong operational knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures, and best practices. /li liUnderstanding of Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards highly regarded. /li liExceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and presentation. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments. /li liHighly organised with strong time management, planning, and problem‑solving capabilities. /li liCommercially minded with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and departmental expenses. /li liDemonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies. /li liProfessional, approachable, and adaptable leadership style. /li liFlexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied hours as required by operational needs. /li liPrevious experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior Housekeeping leader within an luxury environment is essential. /li /ul h3COMPENSATION BENEFITS /h3 ul liCompetitive salary aligned with luxury hospitality standards. /li liAccess to brand benefits, including employee rates and dining privileges. /li liHealth and wellness programs. /li liTraining, development, and career growth opportunities within The Luxury Collection and Marriott International. /li /ul pThis company is an equal opportunity employer. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
