Sunclass Airlines Spain is looking for a Branch Manager who will play a key role in leading and developing our Spanish organization while remaining closely connected to our daily airline operations. As Branch Manager, you will report to the Ground Operations Manager in Copenhagen and be an integrated part of the Ground Operations team. The role works across functions and departments, collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, authorities, and operational partners throughout the organization. The successful candidate will also serve as the legal representative for Sunclass Airlines Spain and ensure compliance with local legal and administrative requirements. About the position You will have direct responsibility for approximately 20 employees located across our offices in Gran Canaria (LPA), Tenerife South (TFS), and Palma de Mallorca (PMI). You will be responsible for creating a supportive and high-performing work environment where employees feel curious, valued, and developed. You will own and manage the local budget and provide monthly reporting and follow-up to the head office in Copenhagen. A key objective is to strengthen collaboration between the three locations and continue the journey towards operating as One Team, ensuring alignment, knowledge sharing, and a strong common culture across all Spanish offices. While people leadership is the main priority, the Branch Manager will also actively participate in operational matters. As part of the Ground Operations team, you will support our airport operations, maintain relationships with ground handling partners and local authorities, and contribute to traffic days when operational support is required. This position is based in either Gran Canaria (LPA) or Tenerife South (TFS), which will serve as your primary workplace and daily office location. As the role is responsible for employees and operations across multiple locations, frequent travel between LPA and TFS is an essential part of the position. Regular travel to Palma de Mallorca (PMI) will also be required to support leadership, collaboration, and operational activities across all Spanish offices. Who we are looking for Must haves: • Resident in Spain, • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken., • Strong understanding of aviation safety, security, and regulatory compliance., • Good financial understanding, including budgeting and cost control., • Experience working in an operational environment with multiple stakeholders., • Proven experience in people management and employee development. Preferred: • Knowledge of one or more Nordic languages., • Experience from a leadership, coordination, or station management role., • Experience from aviation, travel, tourism, or airport operations. You are an engaging communicator who builds trust and strong relationships, and you are comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational involvement. You are a people-focused leader who genuinely enjoys developing and supporting employees, while being proactive, solution-oriented, and motivated by continuous improvement.
