To support our expanding technical and architectural division, we are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Building Engineer / Technical Office Engineer (Ingeniero/a Edificación Oficina Técnica) to join our team in Marbella, Spain . In this key technical role, you will act as an essential pillar in the study, planning, scheduling, execution, and cost control of major hotel construction and renovation projects. Specifically, you will lead civil works, architecture, and installation oversight from early demolition and foundations to high-end interior finishes. By doing so, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Job Description: Building Engineer / Technical Office Engineer Your Mission: Project Oversight, Technical Precision & Site Leadership Your primary goal involves driving architectural and engineering success across major hotel construction initiatives. To achieve this, you will execute detailed project studies, manage budgets, and oversee site execution. Therefore, you will draft technical proposals, design planning schedules in AutoCAD and Revit, and monitor site progress across civil works and interior fit-outs. Additionally, you will coordinate subcontractors, control project costs using SIGRID software, and conduct technical site visits. As a result, you will eliminate project delays, optimize material costs, and protect our group’s reputation for construction excellence. Your Key Responsibilities: Hotel Project Management & Control: Lead the strategic planning, resource allocation, cost control, execution timing, and documentation for hotel construction projects. Technical Review & Specifications: Review technical documentation across all project phases, including demolition, structure, masonry, interior design, utilities, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). Bidding & Technical Office Drafting: Prepare competitive bidding proposals for FG Construcción, including project reports, technical drawings, cost estimates, and execution timelines. Cost & Software Tracking: Use specialized software (SIGRID) to generate detailed quantity take-offs, review installation projects, and monitor budgets and orders. Site Coordination & Visits: Perform technical site visits to inspect civil and architectural works, produce technical status reports, and supervise sub-contractors and suppliers on-site. Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards, collaborating closely with corporate technical leadership when required. Who You Are: The Skilled & Methodical Technical Specialist Educational Background: You hold a Degree in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, or a related field. Post-graduate credentials, Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) training, or PMI (Project Management Institute) certifications are highly valued. Proven Foundations: You bring 2 to 3 years of demonstrable experience working in both technical office environments and active construction sites. Technical & Software Skills: You show strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and specialized construction cost software like SIGRID. Core Competencies: You demonstrate solid expertise in cost and deadline control, procurement, supplier negotiations, and budget management. The Linguist & Mobility: You possess B1-level English proficiency alongside fluent Spanish. Additionally, you hold a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and availability for occasional geographic travel.
