We want to educate and empower people to effortlessly discover, and make their first investment in crypto. /ppVenga has been approved by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) in Spain and holds the MiCA license to operate in Europe as a crypto asset service provider. /ph3Who We're Looking For /h3pWe're looking for a Senior Product Treasury Operations Manager who will take ownership of the operational liquidity and financial flows that power Venga's products. Working within the Product team and reporting to the Head of Product, you will ensure that Venga always maintains sufficient liquidity across its operational accounts and wallets. /ppThis is not an accounting or traditional corporate treasury position. You will be responsible for the day-to-day movement, allocation, and control of funds required for our products to operate effectively. You will also lead the automation and improvement of these processes, taking ownership of responsibilities currently managed by the Head of Product. /ppThe ideal candidate is a highly organized and analytical operator with experience in crypto, treasury operations, liquidity management, and settlements. You should be comfortable managing critical financial processes, working across multiple providers and collaborating with Product and Engineering to automate complex operational workflows. /ppThis role is ideal for an ambitious senior manager who wants to establish and grow a new function, with the opportunity to climb the career ladder within Venga. /ph3What You'll Be Doing /h3h3Product Treasury Liquidity Operations /h3ulliTake full ownership of Venga's day-to-day product liquidity operations. /liliEnsure that sufficient fiat and crypto liquidity is available across all operational accounts, providers, and wallets. /liliEnsure that sufficient gas tokens and other operational crypto balances are maintained across all relevant blockchain wallets. /liliMonitor balances and execute and coordinate transfers between operational accounts to ensure customer deposits, withdrawals, purchases, sales, and swaps are processed without interruption. /liliTogether with senior leadership, help establish minimum, target, and maximum liquidity thresholds for each operational account, currency, and crypto-asset. /liliDefine the business requirements for automated liquidity management systems, dashboards, alerts, and transfer rules, and develop automatic rebalancing based on predefined liquidity thresholds. /liliContinuously identify manual processes that can be automated, simplified or eliminated. /liliForecast short-term liquidity requirements based on customer activity, trading volumes, withdrawals, product launches, marketing campaigns, weekends and public holidays. /liliPlan liquidity requirements around banking cut-off times, provider settlement cycles and blockchain processing times. /liliPlan liquidity requirements and establish weekend, public holiday, and out-of-hours liquidity monitoring, handover, and escalation procedures. /liliPlan liquidity requirements and create contingency procedures for provider downtime, blocked accounts, banking delays, blockchain congestion, and automation failures. /liliIdentify liquidity shortages, excess balances, and concentration risks, and elevate them to the Head of Product and other appropriate stakeholders. /liliDefine and report product liquidity KPIs to the Head of Product, CFO, and CEO. /liliDevelop and regularly test liquidity stress scenarios. /liliPerform first-line operational checks to confirm that customer fiat funds and crypto-assets are fully covered, correctly allocated and available across the relevant accounts and wallets. /liliTrack transfers from initiation through to final settlement and investigate delayed, rejected, missing or duplicated transactions. /liliMaintain a complete and accurate overview of where operational funds are held and how they move throughout Venga's product infrastructure. /liliWork with Compliance, Finance and Security to ensure that all liquidity processes follow Venga's internal controls and regulatory requirements. /liliIn case of incidents, Conduct post-incident reviews and ensure that corrective actions are implemented. /li /ulh3Product Provider Operations /h3ulliManage the operational onboarding of new providers, bank accounts, fiat currencies, crypto-assets, and on-ramp and off-ramp rails. /liliSupport the Head of Product in assessing the operational requirements of new products and features. /liliEnsure that liquidity, settlement, controls, monitoring and fallback procedures are in place before relevant products are launched. /liliAssess the operational impact of new fiat currencies, crypto-assets, networks, deposit methods, withdrawal methods and other services. /liliMap end-to-end product financial flows and identify unnecessary transfers, delays, risks and points of failure. /liliWork with Customer Support to investigate product issues caused by delayed transfers, failed settlements or provider problems. /liliWork with Finance to resolve operational differences between provider balances and Venga's internal records. /liliProvide clear and regular reporting to the Head of Product, CFO and CEO on liquidity positions, incidents, risks and automation progress. /liliMaintain strong relationships with operational contacts at Venga's external providers and manage escalations when issues arise. /li /ulh3Who You Are What You'll Need /h3ulliYou have at least 5 years of relevant experience in treasury operations, liquidity operations, payments, settlements, banking operations, crypto operations, wallet operations, or a related fintech role. /liliNative or Advanced level of bEnglish /b. /lilibCore Knowledge: /bDeep understanding of blockchain and crypto. /liliExperience in a regulated fintech, payments, or crypto company is considered a strong advantage. /liliYou have direct experience managing the movement and allocation of funds across multiple operational accounts or financial providers. /liliYou understand that this is an operational treasury role rather than an accounting, bookkeeping or corporate finance position. /liliYou are comfortable working with both crypto-assets and fiat currencies. /liliYou are highly analytical and can use data to forecast liquidity requirements and identify operational risks. /liliYou are process-driven and able to build reliable controls around critical financial operations. /liliYou are technically minded and comfortable working with Product and Engineering teams on APIs, automation dashboards and internal tools. /liliYou proactively identify problems and implement solutions rather than waiting for instructions. /liliYou are comfortable taking ownership of a function that is still being established and creating structure where processes may currently be manual. /liliYou are ambitious and interested in developing into a leadership role as Venga and the function continue to grow. /liliYou are not afraid to get your hands dirty and are ready to take on multiple processes simultaneously. /liliYou have exceptional attention to detail and understand the importance of accuracy when managing financial transfers. /liliYou are exceptionally well organized and can stay calm when working to tight deadlines or resolving urgent operational or settlement incidents. /liliYou can break complex problems into manageable, actionable chunks and solve each one accurately and effectively. /li
