Bilingual Wedding Assistant & Local Concierge • Company name or name of the person in charge: Ayan Batra, • Job vacancy: Bilingual Wedding Assistant & Local Concierge, • Number of vacancies: 1 Bilingual Wedding Assistant & Local Concierge Spanish and English Speaking | Seville | 2–4 October 2026 We are a friendly international family from the UK looking for a highly organised, proactive and resourceful local assistant to support us during a family wedding weekend in Seville. This is a varied, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys helping people, solving practical problems and making things happen. You will work closely with our family and wedding suppliers, becoming our trusted local point of contact throughout the weekend. This is an operational support role rather than a lead wedding‑planning position. Every day will be different, and the successful candidate must be comfortable responding calmly and flexibly to changing requirements. Key dates and expected hours The core in‑person commitment will be: • Friday 2 October: approximately 8–10 hours, • Saturday 3 October: approximately 10–12 hours, • Sunday 4 October: approximately 10–12 hours Final start and finish times will be confirmed during the interview process. Appropriate breaks will be provided throughout each day. There will also be a small amount of paid preparation before the wedding, expected to include: • One approximately one‑hour video call during August, • Approximately two to three hours of calls during September, potentially arranged as short weekly check‑ins, • Occasional agreed support with local telephone calls, supplier coordination or practical arrangements The exact pre‑wedding requirements will be discussed and agreed in advance. What you may be asked to do Responsibilities are likely to include: • Running last‑minute errands around Seville using your own car, • Purchasing practical items such as additional ice, fruit, drinks or other supplies, • Collecting and delivering items from local suppliers, • Speaking with suppliers and making telephone calls in Spanish, • Translating between English and Spanish, • Helping to set up simple signs, decorations or practical wedding items, • Assisting with guest, hotel or transport arrangements, • Helping family members travel between locations when required, • Answering practical questions from the family or guests, • Keeping the family updated on tasks and arrangements, • Responding calmly and resourcefully to unexpected issues Some tasks may involve carrying light supplies, walking between locations and being on your feet for parts of the day. You must: • Speak fluent Spanish, • Have a good level of spoken English, • Live in or close to Seville, • Have your own reliable car and a valid driving licence, • Know Seville and the surrounding area well, • Be available for all three core wedding dates, • Be punctual, trustworthy and highly organised, • Communicate clearly and professionally, • Be comfortable working independently and taking initiative, • Remain calm, discreet and positive under pressure, • Be flexible about the type of practical support required Experience in weddings, events, hospitality, luxury hotels, tourism, concierge services, executive assistance or personal assistance would be highly valued, although the right attitude and level of reliability are equally important.
