This role will manage and guide the local Operations Managers to implement operational strategic initiatives and projects, process and efficiency improvements and to ensure all sites meet CPL global manufacturing standards and operate in a safe environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, implement, and monitor day‑to‑day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our strategic initiatives. /li liBuild and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals. /li liPlan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day‑to‑day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. /li liDevise strategies to ensure growth of process automation across divisions by identifying and implementing process improvements and automation that will maximize output and minimize costs. /li liUphold organization policies and standards, ensuring local legal regulations are followed. /li liWork closely with human resources to lead a team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment. /li liDevelop and continue to implement global operations strategy, evaluate and implement good operational practice, and drive global operational standardisation and optimisation. /li liExplore and prepare Industry 4.0 strategies and focus on digitisation, customer demand, and customer connectivity. /li liDevelop and deploy manufacturing standards to drive our factories to best‑in‑class performance across key metrics and dimensions of safety, quality, reliability, service, productivity, lead times and overall competitiveness. /li liDrive rapid and consistent production process improvements to ensure that we deliver on time, in full, to quality standards, to customer expectations, and with the most effective use of our resources. /li liImplement manufacturing best practice and deliver significant manufacturing margin, health and safety, and housekeeping improvement. /li liCreate an environment in the factories that motivates employees, ensuring that they are fully aware of what is expected of them, and recognise their success. /li liDrive global production standardisation and optimisation. /li liInitiate and manage global production projects, focussing on robust process, continuous improvement and cost efficiency. /li liMonitor and optimise productivity. /li liResponsible for global manufacturing site selection and evaluation. /li liOversee day‑to‑day operations across CPL Manufacturing Divisions. /li liReview, evaluate and standardise shipping service agreements. /li liBuild the logistics function capability strategically across the globe, utilising systems and process. /li liDrive efficiency and productivity to ensure excellence in delivery and meeting customers’ expectations. /li liManage support contract management with Fricke, ADS, rfsmart and improve service levels. /li liDesign and implement supply‑chain metrics and dashboards. /li liEnsure all sites are educated and trained to follow all HSQE requirements. /li liComply with all relevant legislations and building regulations/permits to ensure appropriate working conditions for all sites. /li liMonitor all incidents, investigate and implement necessary corrective actions. /li liOversee Quality Assurance, Environmental Safety management systems. /li liActively engage and involve in Global Corporate Responsibility Audit team. /li liProvide guidance to local GMs on sites, equipment, buildings and permits. /li liWork with global purchasing and local GMs to maintain appropriate stock levels and utilisation at global level. /li liManage global recharging policy and gain agreement with local GMs. /li liEnsure company policies are enforced consistently. /li liLead and instill a culture of continuous improvement and maximise efficiencies while not compromising on quality across the manufacturing divisions. /li liDevelop supply‑chain people capabilities via professional education development, mentoring. /li /ul h3Skills and Attributes Required /h3 ul liExperience managing a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, either in food, chemical or fragrance industry. /li liUnderstand the big picture and deliver results through a dynamic team. /li liStrong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills. /li liStrong written and oral communication skills. /li liExcellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. /li liExperience using a modern ERP system, with experience in MS Dynamics 365 highly favourable. /li liAbility to prove success in effectively managing a successful and productive facility. /li liPotential for some travel to other divisions. /li /ul pAll qualified applicants will be considered for employment irrespective of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender identity or disability status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
