The Manager serves as the primary liaison to the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and ensures safe, sanitary, and uninterrupted meal support operations. /ph3strongKey Responsibilities /strong /h3pSupervise daily scullery and pot shed personnel (7 days/week operations). /ppEnsure proper dishwashing temperatures, sanitation procedures, and temperature log compliance. /ppEnforce clean/dirty separation protocols and safety standards. /ppMaintain personnel records, medical certifications, and training documentation. /ppConduct weekly inventory checks of Government-issued dinnerware and equipment. /ppReport equipment issues, incidents, and discrepancies to the COR. /ppEnsure all operations meet inspection and quality assurance standards. /ph3Minimum Qualifications /h3pMinimum one (1) year supervisory experience in a high-volume food service environment. /ppMinimum one (1) year experience in a commercial galley or kitchen with comparable equipment. /ppKnowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety principles. /ppAbility to communicate effectively with Government and contractor personnel. /ppAbility to read and maintain operational logs and compliance documentation. /ppMust obtain base access clearance prior to employment. /ph3Preferred Qualifications /h3pExperience working on U.S. military installations. /ppFamiliarity with NAVSUP P-486 and Tri-Service Food Code. /ppExperience managing staff under Spanish labor agreements. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
