Whitewater Group is headquartered in Naas, County Kildare and operates from European bases in Spain, Sweden, Finland and the UK, with plans for further offices to open in Germany, Italy and Denmark. The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning on-site construction time is kept to a minimum. The Opportunity Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for managing technical purchasing activities while supporting logistics coordination and supplier expediting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment for industrial water treatment projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring project schedules are met, supplier performance is monitored, and procurement processes run efficiently in collaboration with Engineering and Project Management teams. Main Duties and Responsibilities Procurement • Manage end-to-end purchasing processes for project-related materials and equipment., • Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate commercial terms., • Issue purchase orders and ensure contractual compliance., • Identify, qualify and develop reliable suppliers., • Maintain procurement documentation and cost control tracking. This position will collaborate and provide support in logistics and expediting tasks • Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics partners., • Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations and transport requirements., • Support inventory coordination and material receipt processes., • Monitor supplier production schedules and delivery milestones., • Proactively follow up on purchase orders to prevent delays., • Provide regular status reports to Project Managers and internal stakeholders. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field., • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in procurement, logistics support and expediting within industrial or EPC project environments., • Experience in water treatment, process industry, energy or industrial plant projects is highly valued., • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier negotiations and international logistics., • Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. xcskxlj, • Fluent English (written and spoken).
