You’ll meet data analytics and Data Science teams to understand their challenges and identify friction points in their day‑to‑day. /p pYou’ll contribute early improvements to our Infrastructure‑as‑Code, ingestion or orchestration stack, CI/CD pipelines, or observability tooling, with the goal of delivering a tangible data quality improvement. /p h3Month 2 /h3 pYou’ll start contributing to the long‑term data platform roadmap. You’ll help define and implement standardized ingestion patterns, reusable abstraction modules, and self‑service workflows that reduce cognitive load for data engineers, data scientists and data analytics teams. /p pYour goal will be to simplify and accelerate how teams build and operate the data platform. /p h3Month 3 /h3 pYou’ll lead a strategic initiative from design to deployment, such as automating components upgrade, establishing a data contract solution or migrating to CDC ingestion. /p pDuring seQura Week (when the whole company gathers at our Barcelona HQ), you’ll present your work to the engineering organization, demonstrating how data platform improvements enable teams to use data in a more reliable, accurate and efficient way. /p h3Tech stack environment /h3 pOur infrastructure runs on AWS with Kubernetes (EKS) and everything is managed via Terraform and Helm. CI/CD is handled through GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Our observability stack includes Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Elastic, and Tempo. Infrastructure automation and platform tooling are primarily built using Python, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes‑native technologies. /p pOur data platform is composed of SageMaker for MLOps, Redshift as datawarehouse, Airflow for orchestration and Airbyte for ingestion. Apart from that OpenMetadata and Metabase help users consume the data we ingest and process. We also use agents running on AWS with Bedrock to simplify day‑to‑day processes. /p h3What we are looking for /h3 h3Must have /h3 ul li7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or similar roles. /li liStrong experience building and operating cloud‑native platforms or distributed systems. /li liDeep experience with AWS cloud environments. /li liSolid experience managing Kubernetes‑based platforms in production. /li liStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm). /li liExperience implementing data observability (freshness, quality checks, alerting…). /li liStrong engineering rigor: version control, testing, automation, modular design, and documentation. /li liHigh autonomy, ownership, and ability to drive technical decisions. /li liStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams. /li liProficiency in English for daily communication, documentation, and technical discussions. /li liExperience working with AI augmentation tools for daily and engineering tasks. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with IAM in regulated environments. /li liExperience improving User Experience. /li liExperience with GitOps practices and tools. /li liExperience with DBT and Cosmos. /li liExperience with data mesh technologies. /li liExperience designing multi‑country, multi‑tenant data platforms. /li liExperience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices. /li liExperience implementing security guardrails and policy‑as‑code. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pWe have a strong and sustainable foundation, where we provide a secure and reliable workplace.
