Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced digital artist and technologist with extensive background in performance, installations, and artistic coding. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in live performance contexts and a strong foundation in digital arts, as described below.Key Skills & Experience- At least 10 years of experience in live performance and installation contexts involving digital art and music.- Proficiency with 3D printing, CNC, electronics, and physical computing platforms.- Extensive experience with Max MSP, Max for Live, Ableton Live, and Arduino; additional familiarity with C++, C#, Swift, and JavaScript coding.- Background in music production with Ableton Live and a musical background is preferred.- Experience creating visuals with TouchDesigner, Blender, Processing, and Resolume Arena.- At least 5 years of teaching or professional training experience.- Graduate degree (master’s or doctorate) in a relevant field is preferred.- Experience with audio/visual media and scoring sound design for film is preferred.Professional Experience- Extensive credit list of electronic music and video production, composition, synthesis, and design.- Experience working in a Fab Lab or prototyping environment, including CNC, 3D printing, and electronics.- Experience teaching or delivering professional training, preferably five or more years.- Proven track record of collaborating with major artists for technical support (coding for video, light, sound, motors, etc.).Application Requirements- Cover letter explaining qualifications.- Curriculum Vitae.- Contact information for at least three professional references.- Additional materials may be requested at a later date.Applications will be reviewed beginning July 20, 2026, and will continue until the position(s) have been filled.
