Job Description The European Amazon Logistics team is seeking an experienced, innovative, hands‐on and customer‐obsessed Process Engineer to drive standardization and integrate the latest technologies into Delivery Stations. As a member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will design new Delivery Stations, support process optimization and technology integration in legacy sites, improve safety, customer experience, quality and cost, and act as the key point of contact for your area in the supported country. The role requires deep customer focus, strong self‐motivation, exceptional project management skills, and a data‐driven, analytical outlook. Key Job Responsibilities • Drive new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration., • Lead and drive technology integration and standardization in EU‐wide programs and products, owning all layout integrations and optimizations in the assigned Delivery Stations., • Contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing with EU counterparts., • Provide process expertise on engineering design, defining material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real estate implications from process requirements., • Lead strategic initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve the processes and stations designs, engaging and influencing key stakeholders. A Day in the Life You will lead end‐to‐end design for new delivery stations and work to improve existing delivery station processes. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including operations, design, construction, launch and expansion, and safety teams. You will produce best‐in‐class layouts for new launches, optimize existing stations, and present to leadership for approval. You will also work on automation programs to integrate new technologies into legacy stations and lead projects that create mechanisms to improve the stations, delivering innovative solutions to complex design challenges. About The Team Our team partners closely with AMZL Operations and support functions to identify, design and develop best‐in‐class process infrastructure and process layouts, and deliver them as EU AMZL network standards. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management or logistics., • Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering., • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques., • Knowledge of project management tools., • Fluent in English, with the ability to take direction in English. Preferred Qualifications • MBA, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field., • Six Sigma Black Belt certification, or Six Sigma Green Belt., • Experience with data analysis (including advanced Excel and database analysis)., • Experience using one or more of the following CAD technologies: AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp or KeyShot., • Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
