ppCloudPay is seeking a skilled and motivated Spanish Payroll Specialist to join our friendly, collaborative team in Barcelona. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all local labour laws, social security requirements, and tax regulations. /p pIn this role, you will work closely with both clients and internal teams, playing a key role in providing seamless and reliable payroll services. /p pPlease submit your CV in English. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage end-to-end payroll processing according to the monthly payroll calendar, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation and statutory deadlines /li liCollaborate closely with Operations to validate and reconcile payroll inputs and reports, ensuring all data aligns with legal and client requirements /li liResearch and resolve payroll discrepancies before processing, and review outputs to ensure accuracy /li liMaintain payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes /li liPrepare and upload monthly payroll reports to the CloudPay platform /li liManage all communications and submissions related to Spanish Social Security, including registrations, amendments, sick leave, and parental leave, via systems like SILTRA, CONTRAT@, CERTIFIC@, and DELTA /li liOversee monthly Social Security contribution submissions and address any issues that may delay payment /li liCoordinate the calculation and timely submission of tax declarations to AEAT, including models 111, 216, 190, 296, and 345 /li liSupport payroll testing and parallel runs for new client implementations or system changes /li liWork in partnership with the Implementation team to ensure new payroll accounts are smoothly transitioned to the in-house team /li liContribute to setup and configuration validations to ensure all client information is complete and accurate for payroll delivery /li /ul h3Experience Needed For This Role /h3 ul liExtensive hands‑on experience managing end-to-end Spanish payroll processing /li liDeep understanding of Spanish payroll legislation, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements /li liExpertise in managing complex payroll components such as benefits‑in‑kind, flexible remuneration, stock options/RSUs, and non‑resident employee scenarios /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (minimum English level: B2) /li liProficiency with core business tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email systems, and Google Apps /li liConfident decision‑making skills, a proactive approach to planning, and the ability to manage priorities independently /li liFamiliarity with Wolters Kluwer A3 software and SUMAR is a plus /li liExposure to international payroll environments is beneficial /li liWillingness to attend the Barcelona office three times per month to support team collaboration /li /ul h3Spain Package and Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive Salary /li liCompetitive vacation allowance /li liCalm app /li liPrivate Medical Insurance /li liEAP /li liIntensive Days /li liEmployee Referral Program /li liWFH Allowance /li liLife Assurance /li liCloudPay NOW /li liPaid Volunteering days /li liMarriage Leave /li liStudy Leave /li liBereavement Leave /li /ul pCloudPay is committed to being an equal opportunities employer. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
