ph3Job Title /h3 pSummer Camp Activity Coordinator /p h3Reporting To /h3 pCamp Director /p h3Location /h3 pLaude San Pedro International College, Marbella /p h3Duration /h3 pJuly (5 weeks) /p h3Working Hours /h3 p08:30 – 14:30, Monday to Friday /p h3Remuneration /h3 p€400 per week (Lunch included) /p h3Job Summary /h3 pThis role takes a leading position in delivering a high-quality summer camp experience for children aged 7–15, providing planning, organising, and delivering a diverse range of activities, supervising staff and children, and coordinating excursions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libActivity Planning Delivery /bbr/Plan and deliver a diverse programme of engaging activities including sports, games, arts crafts, team challenges, and creative workshops; ensure activities are inclusive, structured and suitable for children aged 7–15; adapt sessions to suit group needs, energy levels and weather conditions. /li libLeadership Team Coordination /bbr/Lead and support Activity Assistants in daily sessions; provide clear instructions, supervision and encouragement; collaborate with the Camp Director to ensure smooth programme delivery and promote a positive team environment. /li libSupervision Safeguarding /bbr/Ensure children are supervised at all times; monitor well‑being and behaviour, address issues promptly and report concerns to senior staff; maintain a safe and inclusive environment across all activities and excursions. /li libExcursions Outdoor Activities /bbr/Lead and oversee off‑site excursions, including beach trips and local outings; enforce risk assessments and safety procedures during travel and outdoor activities; manage attendance and behaviour off‑site. /li /ul h3Essential Qualifications /h3 ul liMust be 18 years or older. /li liProven experience working with children or young people (e.g., camp, school, coaching, youth programmes). /li liConfident in leading groups and delivering structured activities. /li liStrong background or interest in sports, arts, crafts or outdoor education. /li liResponsible, reliable and highly organised. /li liExcellent communication and leadership skills. /li liAble to work well under pressure in a busy, fast‑paced environment. /li liLegal right to work in Spain and mandatory documentation. /li liMust currently live in the Marbella area or have accommodation arranged (housing not provided). /li /ul h3Desirable Qualifications /h3 ul liPrevious experience in a summer camp leadership or coordinator role. /li liEnglish and Spanish language skills. /li liFirst aid qualification or safeguarding training. /li liExperience leading beach trips or outdoor excursion programmes. /li liCreative or specialist skills in drama, music, or team sports. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liStrong leadership with a positive and proactive attitude. /li liApproachable, supportive and confident with both children and staff. /li liExcellent team management and communication skills. /li liFlexible, adaptable and solution‑focused. /li liHigh level of responsibility with strong attention to safety and detail. /li liEnergetic, enthusiastic and committed to delivering an exceptional camp experience. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Safeguarding /h3 pAll staff and volunteers are required to share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
