ph3Senior Designer, Layout /h3 h3About the Role /h3 pAnalog Devices is hiring a Senior Designer, Layout for the Hearables and Wearables Consumer Business Unit. As part of the hearables and wearables design team, you will create high-performance edge processing solutions that shape device operation, music enjoyment, and connectivity. The rise of connected voice-activated devices and wearable audio peripherals demands innovative solutions. As a Senior Designer, Layout, you are an experienced, fully competent layout professional working independently to deliver high-quality solutions. You will handle diverse layout problems requiring sophisticated analysis and evaluation, while representing ADI on significant projects and serving as a technical resource for less experienced team members. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liHandles diverse layout problems requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation /li liWorks with minimal supervision on complex assignments /li liMentors junior engineers on technical aspects and best practices /li liRepresents organization on key projects and initiatives /li liIndependently designs and implements complex integrated circuit layouts /li liPerforms advanced timing extraction and static timing analysis /li liEvaluates process flows from vendor library analysis through power usage /li liContributes to IC architecture decisions and process improvements /li /ul h3Must Have Skills /h3 ul liAdvanced Layout Expertise: Broad application of layout principles and concepts with established proficiency /li liTechnical Mastery: Advanced skills in IC layout, CMOS technology, static timing analysis, power analysis, and EDA tools /li liProcess Optimization: Ability to evaluate and optimize layout designs for performance, power, and manufacturability /li liBusiness Acumen: Good understanding of business objectives and market position /li liTeam Communication: Strong group communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts /li /ul h3Preferred Education and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience /li li4+ years of relevant experience /li /ul pFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
