ph3Job mission /h3 pWe are looking for an bAI Solutions Engineer /b to help turn AI concepts and prototypes into secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions across Synthon. /p pIn this role, you will work closely with Data AI Scientists, Data Engineers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to build, deploy, and integrate AI-powered applications that create practical business value. You will play a key role in operationalizing machine learning and Generative AI solutions, including knowledge assistants, intelligent automation, RAG-based applications, and AI-enabled business tools. /p pThe role combines software engineering, cloud engineering, and AI application development. You will help establish reliable engineering practices, deployment workflows, integrations, monitoring, and security controls for AI solutions within Synthon’s Microsoft Azure environment. /p pThis is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building practical AI applications and enabling their safe, reliable, and scalable use within a regulated pharmaceutical organization. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and services that support business processes across Synthon /li liCollaborate with Data AI Scientists, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to transform AI concepts and prototypes into production-ready solutions /li liDevelop APIs, integrations, and backend services that enable the adoption of AI solutions within enterprise platforms and business applications /li liBuild and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments for AI applications, primarily within Microsoft Azure /li liDeploy, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve machine learning and Generative AI solutions /li liImplement engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automation, testing, and version control /li liIntegrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, collaboration platforms, and knowledge repositories /li liContribute to AI platform architecture, reusable engineering patterns, security controls, and governance standards /li liStay informed about developments in AI engineering, cloud technologies, and software development practices, and evaluate their potential value and applicability within Synthon /li /ul h3Location /h3 ul liAlternatively, HQ Nijmegen, the Netherlands /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pbYour profile /b /p pYour letter of motivation and CV should show that you have: /p ul liBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field /li liAt least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI engineering, cloud engineering, or a related discipline /liliExperience developing APIs, backend services, or business applications /li liExperience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure /li liExperience with software engineering and deployment best practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-based application deployment /li liUnderstanding of cloud security, authentication, and application lifecycle management /li /ul pbPreferred Qualifications /b /p ul liExperience developing or deploying AI and Generative AI applications /li liFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure AI services, Microsoft Fabric, or related cloud technologies /li liExperience building enterprise applications, integrations, or internal platforms /li liExperience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or other regulated industries /li /ul pbType of contract /b /p ul liInitially for 12 months, with a prospect to a contract for an indefinite term /li /ul pbLanguages /b /p pGood command of the Spanish and English language, both excellent verbal and written communication skills /p pbPersonal skills /b /p ul liYou are a hands-on and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys building reliable and scalable technology solutions /li liYou combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic mindset and a focus on delivering business value /li liYou have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams /li liYou take ownership of your work, continuously seek opportunities to improve, and have a strong interest in emerging AI and cloud technologies /li /ul pbSector /b /p pPharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
