ppThe Welfare Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of member benefit entitlements under member benefit plan Trust Funds as specified by a Collective Bargaining Agreement and directed by a Board of Trustees. Ensures employer benefit contribution reports are verified for accuracy in order to determine benefit plan entitlements for members, identify employer payments irregularities, initiate collection efforts and carry out delinquency procedures. /p h3The Welfare Administrator Will: /h3 ul liLearn and understand the applicable Collective Agreements. Receive employer contribution reports on daily basis and ensure payments accurately match the report. Balance and audit reports, confirming hours, rates, calculations and additional information. Process company adjustments on system. Detailed analysis of employer reporting is required to ensure accuracy. /li liGenerate and analyze various reports to identify and reconcile any company imbalances or irregularities Follow BPA delinquency guide for companies with outstanding balances. /li liRespond to enquiries from Union representatives, companies and members regarding eligibility, vacation pay and other issues. /li liAssist union representatives’ enquiries regarding company, and member reports. /li liRequest and distribute cheques from Accounting Department at month end. /li liAssist employers to complete documentation and reports for submission to BPA. /li liProcess disability applications and confirm proof of disability. /li liEnter WSIB credits for all plans monthly. /li liBalance deposit slips on a monthly basis /li liAdminister vacation pay garnishments, early releases /li liRun various monthly queries to assist in monthly reporting. /li /ul h3Key Contacts/Relationships External And Internal /h3 ul liReports directly to the Account Manager /li liWorks cooperatively with Client Services Manager responsible for facilitating communication between Union Representatives /Staff and BPA /li liWorks cooperatively as a member of the I.U.P.A.T.
