Who We Are Oscar Mobility is redefining car rental across Europe. With 650+ locations across Denmark, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and the US, we are scaling fast and rewriting the rules of mobility. Our asset-light, data-driven platform enables car dealerships and workshops to unlock new revenue by turning idle vehicles into profitable rental services. We are a marketplace at our core: connecting supply with demand, and growing both sides. The Opportunity We are hiring a Product Manager (Design-Led) to own the product roadmap at Oscar. This is not a classic PM role. You will define strategy, prioritize ruthlessly, run user research, and bring enough design sensibility to shape how experiences look and feel without waiting for a designer to do it for you. If you think in user problems, communicate in prototypes, and enjoy moving fast from insight to shipped feature, you will thrive here. 📍 Location: Remote / Malaga, Spain ⏱ Schedule: Full-time Tasks This is a high-ownership role that blends classic product management with hands-on design and research skills. Expect to: - Own the product roadmap for your area: define what gets built, when, and why - Run user research: interviews, usability tests, surveys, and synthesis into clear product decisions - Write detailed specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering can act on immediately - Produce wireframes, user flows, and low-to-mid fidelity mockups to communicate your thinking before involving engineering - Use Figma and/or Design Claude to collaborate on designs and validate ideas without creating a bottleneck - Build lightweight POCs using AI-assisted tools (Cursor, v0) to test concepts quickly - Define and track product metrics: you own outcomes, not just output - Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and ops to align priorities and remove blockers - Present roadmap and product decisions to C-level stakeholders with clarity and confidence - Document decisions, rationale, and learnings for an async, distributed team This role requires someone who takes full ownership, bridges research and execution, and is as comfortable in a user interview as they are writing a spec or sketching a flow. Requirements Must Have - 3 to 5 years in a product management role, ideally in B2C tech or a marketplace - Strong discovery skills: user research, problem framing, insight synthesis - Experience writing detailed product specs and working directly with engineering teams - Ability to produce wireframes, flows, or low-fidelity designs to communicate ideas - Data-informed mindset: comfortable defining success metrics and making decisions from data - Clear communicator, written and verbal, comfortable presenting to non-technical audiences - A proactive, ownership-driven approach with bias toward action Nice to Have - Working knowledge of Figma: components, auto-layout, interactive prototypes - Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools (Claude Design or similar) - Background in mobility, automotive, or marketplace products - Familiarity with mobile-first product design (iOS/Android conventions) - Basic understanding of APIs or component-driven development - Experience shipping products across multiple European markets or multi-locale platforms Our Stack - Figma (design collaboration and wireframing) - Claude Design, Cursor (AI-assisted POC building) - Linear, Notion (planning and documentation) - Frontend ecosystem: React, Next.js, TypeScript You will help define how our product tooling and processes evolve moving forward. Benefits - Real ownership: You will define what gets built and why. No approval chains, no ticket queues. You drive the roadmap. - High-impact work: You are joining at a pivotal moment as we expand internationally and build product experiences for a new category in mobility. - Direct line to leadership: You will work closely with the Head of Product and CTO, with no layers slowing you down. - AI-first tooling: We invest in the latest tools to make you faster, not just busier. Claude Design, and whatever comes next. - Flexibility and a competitive package: Remote-friendly environment, competitive compensation, and a trust-based work culture. What's Next 1.
