Job DescriptionIMMEDIATELY HIRING MATERIAL HANDLERS, ASSEMBLERS AND WAREHOUSE TECHNICIANS JOB LOCATIONS IN GREENSBORO, NC AND BURLINGTON, NCPAY $16-19 PER HOUR + OVERTIME Job Description The General Production Worker (Production Line Assistant) supports the efficient and safe operation of a high-volume production line. You assemble, organize, visually inspect finished products, ensure proper packing and palletizing, assist with quality control, feed machines with the correct materials, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. This role works on a rotating production line and contributes directly to consistent product quality and on-time order fulfillment. Essential Skills • Experience in production, general labor, or general production work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment., • Ability to perform picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently., • Basic experience with light assembly work on a production line., • Ability to perform palletizing, including stacking cartons on pallets according to standards., • Experience using RF scanners for order picking, packing, or inventory tracking., • Ability to perform warehouse packing and order picking tasks in a fast-paced environment., • Capability to assist with machine operation and machine operating tasks under supervision., • Experience or comfort with material handling, including unloading and moving products and pallets., • Ability to support shipping and receiving activities, including staging and organizing products., • Attention to detail for quality inspection and visual inspection of finished products., • Ability to follow safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions., • Willingness to work full-time on assigned shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedules., • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move cartons and materials, and perform repetitive tasks safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Prior experience in a warehouse environment, including shipping and receiving operations., • Previous experience with light assembly or packaging in a production facility., • Basic familiarity with operating or assisting with production machines., • Experience with forklift operation is beneficial, where permitted and trained., • Comfort working with state-of-the-art production equipment and technology., • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new tasks and processes., • Ability to work collaboratively with operators, team leads, and supervisors in a team-oriented environment.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.17 - $17.17/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
