Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree preferred, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn HR systems, • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes accurately, • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, • Good written and verbal communication skills, • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance, • Attention to Detail: Consistently produces accurate, complete work product with minimal errors, • Confidentiality: Handles sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion, • Organizational Skills: Demonstrates strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail, • Auditing Skills: Assists in internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and responds to third-party audit requests, • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new resources, training materials, systems, and changing business needs, • Customer Service: Demonstrates customer service orientation and ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally, • Communication: Communicates clearly in writing and verbally; asks for clarification when needed, • Employees must comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing armed security, transportation, and workplace safetyBenefits, • Health Insurance, • Dental Insurance, • Vision Insurance, • Generous Paid Time Off, • 7 Paid Holidays, • 401(k) Responsibilities, • The Human Resources Clerk will assist with day-to-day Human Resources operations including document preparation, record maintenance, onboarding support, and general office coordination, • The role requires strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to follow established procedures accurately and on time, • HR Records & Filing, • Maintain and organize employee records in both physical and digital filing systems, ensuring documents are accurate, complete, and properly filed, • Upload and file executed employment documents in Human Resources information System in a timely manner, • Assist with data entry and updates in under the direction of the Human Resources Director, • Assist with data collection and record maintenance, • Retrieve and prepare employee records or documents when requested by the Management Team, • Onboarding & Offboarding Support, • Prepare and assemble new-hire paperwork packets, including offer letters, onboarding checklists, and required policy acknowledgments, • Collect, track, and flag outstanding pre-employment documentation (references, clearance checks, I-9 forms) ahead of employee start dates, • Assist with I-9 processes under the supervision of the Human Resources Administrator, • Support the new-hire orientation process by coordinating logistics, printing materials, and preparing workspaces or system access requests as directed, • Assist with basic data entry tasks related to payroll under close supervision, • Draft routine correspondence (letters, emails, notices) from templates provided by the Human Resources Manager, • Manage incoming Human Resources department mail, scan and route documents as needed, • Coordinate departmental correspondence and maintain communication with employees, managers, and external contacts, • Respond to employee inquiries and provide professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions, • Utilize critical thinking and attention to detail to identify discrepancies and escalate issues as needed, • Support internal audits and assist in gathering documentation for external and third-party audit requests, • Support Human Resources special projects and administrative tasks as assigned, • Reliability & Follow-Through: Completes assigned tasks on time and flags issues proactively, • Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties requested by anyone authorized to give instructions or assignments, • All duties and responsibilities are essential functions and requirements and are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities, • To perform this job successfully, the incumbents will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently
